Seeing these terrible substsitute imagery for german stuff is quite eye straining.you see BR5 reminsent imperial german flags with an iron cross in the middle that makes any person who knows anything about their flags brains hurt.and the the eagles that are supposed to hold sawastikas look rediculous just holding olive branches wih nothing in them,especially on the hats that have them.and the planes and tanks that have the flags on them (ie. Hs 123,panzer 4 D heat) cant be taken seriously with an iron cross where there should be something else.so there should be a filter in settings automatically sensoring symbols that can be turned off and you see sawastikas and whatnot.of course for the countries that ban nazi imagery that would be reigon locked to off because you know making an entire different version of your game for certain reigons isnt easy(germany allows it now as videogames are artforms).and games like wolfenstein and sniper elite do just fine and they have no absolute sensorship (wolfenstein has specific versions for those places,not sure about sniper elite),so could we have this option?this will make the game more historically accurate and would make some of your other historical mess ups look slightly better,and I see no reason why having this be an OPTION is bad.

if i remeber correctly they did have their squad symbols on the shoulder but its 2.34 am in Germany and i go to bed now …

It always seemed ridiculous to me to do the censorship thing, especially for stuff like this. Like I’m somehow going to become communist from seeing a hammer and sickle, or nazi from seeing a swastika?
But who knows what eldritch laws they have to abide by, or which stupid organizations start crying bloody murder if they don’t censor

Sure allowing players to fight each other while wearing swastikas won’t cause anything controversial at all.
Just for campaing games, USK Review Game per Game and all the online games can’t show simbols
