Idk how but i managed to run this game with 4gb Vram and a PC that on these days would only do its job for Word powerpoint and excel

since that day my game has been laggy as hell to the point where if it wasnt because my team or my skill issue it was my pc acting like if it has 3 criptominer virus i cant even explain how frustaring is playing with lag, trash aim and garbage team i swear eveytime i took a rest from this game was because this, lucky im alredy dealing with the main problem (crap performance) and thats why i still here its because i managed to handle the lag to an extreme point with this config:

minimum escencial preset config, 1760 x 990 resolution antialiasing FXAA at low-medium fps locked to 75 (since my monitor is 75 hz) and amd anti lag on

then on the task manager i put enlisted at maximum priority (high) and have to close everything that means… no open google, no discord (except for calls), even i closed some escencial proccess for my pc and i have to open it after manually also i use my graphical card drivers to maximum performance boost

And lastly but probably the most important out of all i dont use the full client version nope i use the half client version which was the thing that saved me from turning my pc into a pocket bomb

And before you comment that i get performance issue only because my pc nope, i’ve seen multiple times on this forum and even on my clan where we sometimes dealed with these problems (most of the cases was me XD)

heres my proposal you developers are tecnically reducing the amount of possible players you can get by making optimization trash really thats practically shooting urself on the leg, why do you think crappy games like roblox have many players? Yes kid casinos is a valid reason but is also because you can run ts game on potato pcs

Im not asking the game to turn into lego graphics, im just asking the developers to do some basic optimization for the game so people with a crap budget like me wont have to do ramdom and magical bullshit to stabilize their fps

Because all these updates you have done just improve the graphics that btw i dont even have an idea why you made this since on early game trailers the game looked way better than today

so overall please gaijin take in consideration my words making the game with ray tracing or ultra 4k HD graphics aint gonna help to make it grow and more if you dont optimize it becuase even if many dont use these funtions at the end of the day it affects everyone in some ways

About a year ago, the game ran at very high settings at 60 FPS, but now it sometimes drops by 5-15 frames at medium settings (3060ti). I was completely satisfied with the graphics, which were beautiful and didn’t have many unnecessary features that could affect the gameplay. However, the lighting now works strangely, for example, there is complete darkness in the building, which obviously affects accuracy because I can’t see the enemy. In conclusion, the new graphics have negatively impacted the gameplay, forcing me to lower the graphics settings, and for what purpose? Explain to me, who requested this? Who came up with the idea of raising the requirements for a FREE game so much?

No one asks for these graphical updates but developers love making the game prettier instead of fixing its actual problems thats why i have done this post to remind the developers that ts is fp2 and also a free game

That’s absolutely correct!
I feel that the developers made a fundamental mistake.
The most important thing about a game is that it can be played.
Being beautiful comes later.
Now, the developers have studied a bunch of methods to enhance the visuals.
But the game is getting increasingly laggy.
The frame rate is getting lower and lower.
Why can’t someone be hired to optimize it?
You see, War Thunder has excellent optimization.
Even the most broken computer can run smoothly.
Instead of joining the military, even with the latest 50-core graphics card, it still runs extremely slowly.
Perhaps the lag is caused by the server rather than the graphics card’s computing issue.
However, frame drops are indeed a problem.

Also there was several graphical optimizations within the patch notes. Just gotta read them

The answer is quite simple: optimization requires money.
He is reluctant to spend money, or to put it another way, he is unwilling to spend more money to accelerate.

This suggestion is essentially useless as it doesn’t show what could be optimized
Usually if you want to ask for better optimization you need to show actual evidence of the fps degrading after an update, there is also a bunch of optimization tweaks in the next major update
You are free to try again afterwards if you do provide evidence
