A Game can be cool as hell. But if it constantly crashes on a Laptop (Not everybody has the money for a Gaming PC), the coolness ends anyway. Please optimize the game

He is not alone , but i take it you are aware of the troubles. yes we have send dozens of crashreports.
You didn’t list your graphics card.
Nope, why should I? Been there done that. i am no donkey bonking his head three times on a row.
Without showing your graphics card, you’re not showing your full spec. It kinda makes your post moot.
And your CPU is 8 years old, just so you know.
Bro not everyone has insane budget to run the game we have disscussed this multiple times.
in fact i have managed to get the game to the very limit while using a crappy laptop i have (even worse than my main PC)
30 stable fps with a graphic card that litterally said “integrated graphics” and nothing else
One problem only… i think that playing more than 5 games nonstop overheats the Laptop to insane points
Ive stated multiple times that improving game graphics will only screw the potential playerbase God knows how many ppl want to play enlisted (if theres at least one) but have no PC or a minimally competent one, thats why these posts wont stop and more with current game direction
No-one is suggesting you need an “insane budget” to run the game. The game pretty much still runs on a potato. That said, running a game on the minimum spec PC, on any game, isn’t what any dev would want or expect. It’s minimum for a reason. That’s why we have “recommended specs”. That spec is what the devs recommend you have to run their game at a decent level.
And you’ve done well to run the game with what you have. I’ve tried to help you extensively with various upgrade paths to get the game to work well for you. And I can guarantee if you followed my help, then you’d get the game running great.
If your laptop is overheating after 5 games, then it needs servicing. Take to a reputable computer shop and get them to clean and repaste everything.
Live service games evolve over time. A low-end PC that can run the game at minimum specs upon release might not be able to run the same game after 5 years in the game’s life.
For reference, here’s the current suggested specs for Enlisted, via Steam:

Minimum spec means you need this spec to actually be able to run the game. Get it going. Are you going to get the best performance or best experience? No. Not at all. This has always been the case with any PC game.
Recommended spec is what the devs consider enough to run the game well, albeit with some possible compromises. That said, you should be able to get a decent experience from the game with that spec.
This is just how PC gaming works. It’s always been like this. It’s one of the world’s most expensive hobbies. If you don’t evolve with it, then you’re left behind. And I appreciate that a lot of people can’t afford to keep up with it, but it is what it is.
I’m always more than happy to help people with potential upgrades or running the game better with what they have. But there has to be an understanding from them that their rig just might not be up to the task.
But if they don’t provide all the information I require to help them, out of pride or whatever, then I can’t help them. I can only work with the information I receive.
problem is not in CPU. it is good enough for enlisted. he either has integrated GPU from nvidia like mx230 or probably something from 10xx, 16xx or 20xx generation. if he has integrated GPU then it is pretty normal to have shitty performance and crashes. if he has any dedicated GPU, then it is abnormal.
cause it is laptop, check your CPU/GPU temps cause games can crash if the ventilators are clogged with dust. also one other thing people forget is that ryzen was pretty new back then and it could run with instabilities if you didnt flash BIOS to newest version.
You had all the information you need. Nothing to do with pride , i posted this months ago. I benchmarked it , gave crashreports gave all the info the pc and graphic cards. We have 15 users here and all of them have isssues with Enlisted ,filed their reports and no problems with heavier games. Yes my pc is 8 years old, the other 14 rigs vary but all high end, and being patronizing does not help, we all have enough knowledge to know what the issue is and why you need a keep up with the games. If you ask one of the few real players in a game if they experience lag it is, yes,jup uhu. If y check reddit , yep. Your communitymanager even says it takes 3 to 4 games of lag before y actually can play. You canthelp because it is a Enlisted problem and not the user. Ventitalors and dust are not an issue here and it is not a laptop, temperature is fine.
to be fair it can be both. lots of people experienced crashing on ryzen before they updated BIOS. lots of people experience crashing on 13 and 14th gen intel CPU cause of manufacturing defect(which is somewhat mitigated with BIOS update), then there are people who have misconfigured memory(e.g. putting memory clock on memory rated clock which can be way over what CPU can handle). then there are people with anti virus which can slow down game at start etc.
problems could only occur in certain games cause every game stresses PC in different way. some demand high single core performance, some demand multi core performance, some demand more GPU etc.
for devs to correctly diagnose the issue they also need for users to remove issues on their side.
Your CPU still seems fine, but I think you should check the CPU temperature and clean and reapply thermal paste. Of course, also check if there’s a lot of software taking up space.
Not patronising, but I can’t help if I don’t know all the information.
You wrote all that text, but couldn’t list your graphics card?
And the lag spikes generally occur post-update, and are resolved after a couple of games.
I never suggested your temperatures were at fault. I was replying to another user. Remember, you jumped in on this thread and answered my question that was aimed at the OP.
Robihr is spot on with his replies. It’s good advice and should be considered.
