Opinion of Saboteur Squad?

For me, it was kinda cool to play around with even though I wasn’t big on thier idea.

I did find that:

  • while trying to get a uniform, it was time consuming…this takes away from your team for playing the point
  • since it is a 1 man squad, you aren’t really as effective behind lines…I blew up a tank and immediately had the enemy army on
  • I played on game where they were in my unifom shooting us…was infuriating trying to kill them
  • I thought there was a spawn cap for the unit…it seemed like I could always spawn it

My opinion is while cool and fun to play, it detracted from the team and the battle as it is a 1 man squad…Guerilla squads seem more useful.

Useless. Waste of ressources and development time.

Rider IIs right?

The spy sabotage team has only four uses: reconnaissance markers, destroying respawn points, destroying vehicles and tanks, and eliminating lone enemy remnants.

Too be fair, that’s supposed to be everyone on the team…plus building rallies, playing the obective and killing. The Saboteur seems gimmicky.

In effect, a dedicated rally point killer (or booby traper, ohohoh)

Can be very useful to any team…

I see it as a niche “squad” (one man).

Because a regular squad can often hunt rallies as well.

fun when you don’t get caught, absolute waste of time when you do

class is okay.

but the absence of team marker for players when the spy is in disguise kinda kills the whole purpouse of the class.

with that being said, it’s a niche class.
even more than actual riders lol.

What do you mean by that?
The instant you are seeing by any player, with or without uniform, you’ll die, as we all aim at opponents not based on their uniform but based on the fact they don’t hold the Blue Triangle.
I have been killing saboteurs without even noticing they were saboteurs, automatically.

This class is a clear example of shallow thinking.

Everyone on the field should already be doing what a saboteur does with the exception of moving around the grey zone…but guerillas get a 5 man squad plus way more TNT, I just think the swapping uniforms is gimmicky. They are fun to play, but really niche. I don’t see them making a dramatic change to an outcome.

I got stabbed in the back by one today after I was checking something on my phone. Theyre pretty easy to spot since the player was zooming around trying to stab other people in the building.
