Assault Mode - ‘Any Map’
In every Assault mode, if the Attacker team cannot capture the 2 main point, and they run out from reinforcements (reach zero) there should be a 60 sec countdown till end of the battle.
Now the problem is, if an Aircraft still alive and all of his teammates are dead, why the match is not ended? The game should count the pilot as not a squad who can capture any of the point.
The battle is clearly ended, Attackers lost the battle. Where is the Victory sigh?
Nooo, Pilots are calmly bombing the field for a long while, take their time…WTF?
(Noone brought fighter to take him down, noone build AA gun because…most of the players…are…you know…#!@/*F?..so yeah)
I suggest to starts a countdown, when the attacker’s reinforcement number reach 0, and not ends only when the planes dies.

It should be work like: after last tickets falls to 0, and both sectors has no capture progression. The 60s timer starts. And the game intended to be like this. But lots of times, I means, really very common, the timer break down. From CAT to now, the Assault mode’s timer often not working.

I may be wrong, but could it be that the timer doesn’t start if the attacking team is holding 1 of the 2 points when tickets reach 0? And it starts if defenders take both points back?
It does not. I’v seen this happen in games and still it wont end until every last enemy player is dead. It sucks even worse when some stupid bot gets stuck in some random AF area the enemy never checks and it’s either leave and lose xp or wait for the enemy team to find Bob The f*cking Bot and killem.
the timer start when reinforcements are at 0 and no attacker units are no where near the point.

lately on timers those has been increased.
but ideally, ( and the majority of time that i play ) happens that if the attackers have 0 tickets left, and no one is touching the objective, the counter starts.
but as i said, and as i saw from other users, sometimes the timer is buggy.
as such, people are pleased to report it and stick a clog.
i would do it. but never happened to me ( which does not mean this bug never happens. let’s be clear )
I don’t even know if there is any Assault map in Moscow campaign as I haven’t got any so far and this is what I am playing now (Moscow campaign), so I don’t know if there were any changes/fixes to Assault mode lately.
Anyway when I’ve been playing Assault mode in Normandy campaign, every single time when the attacking side lost all their reinforcements with nobody on capture point, then timer starts to count, as usual. After reaching 0 it just disappears and the game was still going on if there was a single enemy alive, doesn’t matter if ground troop or a pilot in his plane flying around.
It is a problem when there is only one enemy left and (for whatever reason) he likes to hide in his safe zone somewhere inside a house, where defenders can’t reach him. That person can do it for as long as he wants (just be active or else kicked) and just wasting time for everybody. Some people will just leave after few minutes out of frustration and get less XP in the end.
This is why I always hate to play Assault mode.
No need for this suggestion, it’s clearly a bug.
Has been reported several times before. But you know how long it takes DF to fix bugs…

Hey guys, thank you for all of you reply , opinion and experience. It seem that kinda bug or something. I dont really find out as you can see. I hope devs will fix its in the near future.
