One plane on Pacific

Does anyone know why the SBD 3 Dauntless use to dive after start flying? It asks training to do it well

Probably because you can’t just nose up with a bomber like that before you get airspeed up more. Taking off, then. Leveling for a few seconds, gets your airspeed up so you can climb

did you put flaps on takeoff position?

Add mentioned, you have to put your nose down to build up enough speed for a successful takeoff. Point the plane forward as it picks up speed and roll straight off the front of the carrier deck before retracting your gear and pulling gently up. If you do it right you don’t even need takeoff flaps, though they do help

At least, the other question’s meaning was, Why it does this?
