The AI does nothing except dying and drawing attention, could we get the option to just have one player controlled soldier in the squad to get things done easier?

there’s a whole game mode for you that does that.
it’s called lone wolf and can be selected in the game mode selector.
but you have to be at level 3 with one faction in order to play it.
note, in order to make your bots better, you have to use them. and only through veterancy ( yellow stars ) they become " better "( in terms of behavior, aim, and accuracy).

I agree the bots actually subtract from the potential of this game, they stand in my way, shoot me when I’m hiding in grass they make the game feel like I’m playing a bad single player experience probably the biggest fault with the game right now, even if they move the bots to a practice mode its still pointless and ruins the game.

I still don’t understand why someone who doesn’t want bots, would play a game which is designed primarily around bots.
There are many other more conventional shooters out there you could play, why choose this one and then want it changed to suit you?
