So, when are they finally going to be added? They’re in every other game—they have everything: weapons, aircraft, and tanks (and they’d be even better than Japan’s).
It’s funny that the US is there, but Britain isn’t.

I have a feeling the day the Commonwealth and Italy is split into separate trees is the day that Enlisted merges with War Thunder Infantry…
Let that not be the case.
Why bother? Good guys, bad guys. 2 sides not 2.5. Are the English Allies? Are the Italians Axis? THERE YOU GO! I rather they spend time making the game better to play then making a sub faction nation that has no impact on the game outside of cosmetics.
The US Is there because we armed Britain, we paid Britain, We died for Europes war. If the US did not help with LEND LEASE then the UK would have been German. You only survived because of America not the other way around. What exactly did the UK do for America? They surrendered in the Pacific. They build great railroads with little resources. They forced colonized countries to provide fodder for their war effort. Granted they are not the Italians, Romanians, Scandinavians but Russia, Germany, Japan and America were the four mains.
The United States provided the United Kingdom with $31.4 billion in total assistance during World War II, primarily through the Lend-Lease Act enacted in March 1941. Adjusted for modern inflation, this wartime aid is equivalent to roughly $550 billion to $650 billion
But we got back
During World War II, the UK gave the US approximately $6.8 billion in reciprocal aid, a program officially known as “Reverse Lend-Lease” Sounds about right for Europe. Our silver our blood your problems. Now we are repeating it with the Ukraine.
That is why common wealth is part of the allies and not its own thing.
She created your “county” , And don’t forget what language you’re speaking!
Actually we beat them down and created America. You realize the Americas or specifically North America was British French and Spanish right? I am guessing not? Manifest destiny was not buying English land but French land. Florida was not English. Nor were any of the protectorates America gain during the Spanish American war. The west coast was British? Huh? Gee I thought this whole time America fought the Mexican American war against Spain! Mind blown! /s
That’s all true, but the people who built all of this were Englishmen who call themselves Americans.
If you’re a Native American, that’s a different story, but 99% of Americans are descendants of the English
I don’t want to offend you, but I don’t like playing under the US flag. I’d rather play under the flags of the Commonwealth countries.
Australia
United Kingdom
Canada
India

Together, we are stronger! ![]()
America = Amerigo Vespucci Not John Smith. The 13 colonies only got the party started, The continental United States came about due to many different combatants. It is crazy to think we almost got Canada.

I’ve always been curious: what year does your history curriculum start with? In other words, what year does the history of the United States begin?
The history of the Americas start with the Native migration from Asia. Then native cultures like the plains Indians. West Coast tribes, Meso American history, Then the Spanish conquests, Then the French and British conquests. Then the French and Indian war, Then the revolutionary war etc etc. Or did you assume we are like Russia where it was Russia always not mentioning the Mongols? I am sure no one is a fan fighting under the commies nor the nazis but they were the main combatants. Russia deserve a lot of credit for WW2. I use to have this conversation a lot when I lived in SE Asia. Nothing funnier than a Russian and American putting a European in their place about who did what in WW2. Russia took the worst of it, the most lives lost, the most resources expended etc etc. And I say that disliking Russia in general but admit historically they did most of the heavy lifting in WW2. 40 million dead, Lets not mention China they had almost 20 million dead and NO one cares (Easy Company 2 has them).
The difference is that Russian civilization, culture, and identity existed centuries before the United States even appeared on the map. Russia has roots going back to medieval Rus’, while the United States was founded in 1776. Russia has a long, complex history involving the Mongols, Byzantium, and many other civilizations, just as every major nation does. Nobody claims Russia appeared out of nowhere or that its history began with its modern borders.
And don’t confuse the history of the American continent with the history of the United States as a nation. Native civilizations existed long before the USA, just as civilizations existed long before modern Russia. But if we’re talking about the American nation and the country itself, its history as an independent state is barely 250 years old.
So no, I didn’t assume Russia was always Russia. I simply understand the difference between the history of a territory, the history of its peoples, and the history of a state. Maybe you should apply that same distinction to your own country before lecturing others about history.
That is like saying don’t confuse prior history of Russia with the USSR. America has been inhabited for many thousands of years. You are trying to win an argument with specifical non contextual arguments. Its like saying Slavery is only about America. It is the history of the Americas or its not the history of North Eurasia. By your logic your country was created after the Russian revolution so we are centuries older by your logic.
The Soviet Union (USSR) was officially formed on December 30, 1922
The United States was officially founded on July 4, 1776
I will just leave this right here.
Nothing to see here! So these Mongols were they Russian? Asking for a friend.
You don’t understand anything. There is no such thing as an American nation; it’s an artificially created national identity. You don’t even have your own language, whereas the Russian nation has existed for centuries.
Since you seem so confident discussing history, let’s look at some actual dates.
• 862 AD: The traditional date associated with the beginning of Russian statehood, with the rise of Rurik’s rule.
• 882 AD: The formation of Kievan Rus’ as a major East Slavic state, centuries before the United States existed.
• 1547 AD: Ivan IV was crowned Tsar, marking an important stage in the development of the centralized Russian state.
• 1721 AD: Russia officially became an empire under Peter the Great.
• The Russian language: Its roots go back to the East Slavic languages of the medieval period, and it developed over many centuries. Russian identity also evolved over time, as did the identity of every other nation.
Now let’s compare that with the United States.
• 1776: The United States declared independence.
• 1783: Britain formally recognized American independence.
• 1789: The US Constitution established the framework of the modern federal government.
Do you see the difference? Russian statehood has roots stretching back more than a millennium, while the United States has existed as an independent country for roughly 250 years.
Of course, American history includes Indigenous civilizations that existed long before the United States, and I’m not denying that. But the history of a continent is not the same as the history of a nation-state.
And one more thing: English is America’s dominant language, and much of its early political and cultural heritage came from Britain and Europe. That doesn’t mean Americans aren’t a real nation today; it means national identities develop over time.
So if we’re going to discuss history, let’s use the same standards for everyone. You cannot lecture others about historical continuity while confusing the history of an entire continent with the history of a country founded in 1776.
Whatever makes you happy, mate. I’m not here to argue. ![]()
That is because you are wrong.
, while the centralized Russian state was formally established in the 16th century, And how many different methods of being ruled did you go through? Seems you are missing the point America is a Democracy from A to Z one form of government a Federal Republic. We were not serfs, then slaves, then serfs then commies, now whatever you guys are. A Semi republic and you get to pick one guy named Putin. You totally have the higher ground! Everyone hates our president but at least we have a choice every 4 years.
The central federal government of the United States was first established on March 1, 1781
Mongol Vassalage & The Grand Duchy of Moscow (1237 – 1547)
The Tsardom of Russia (1547 – 1721)
The Russian Empire (1721 – 1917)
The Provisional Government & Dual Power (1917)
Soviet Era / USSR (1922 – 1991)
The Russian Federation (1991 – Present)
Bro we live in an age you get called out of bullshit ASAP. You can argue with me all day if you like but you cannot argue facts. You pretend like Russia has existed forever in a day when you have had many many different governments. Shit 1991 was the last time you changed one. So you are saying my countries government system established is younger than your current 1991 government? OMG OK!
I say we have a swappable flag for USA and Germany when you have more squads form the nation in question ergo British flag when you have more British squads in your lineup and same for Italy. Why? because cutting yourself out gear that helps you fight properly is bad balance eg: PIAT at BR 3 and 4 vs a M9 which does a much better job. I have nothing against Italy, Commonwealth and other nations like china being represented cutting them out of a bigger TT doesn’t help balance by all means being responsible an using the nation appropriate gear where possible is good but it shouldn’t be forced upon people and hurt balance as a consequence. Having a fun playable game is No#1 IMO, having historical accuracy and accurate campaigns is No#2. Having more foldered UK/Italy equivalents would be great but is not always possible so I’d rather they stay in another TT for you to assemble at your own leisure.
Exactly Axis and Allies. Not The powerful and the mediocre Klingons who think they won the war but really are lucky other countries stepped in to help. Again, I begrudging say Russia won WW2 primarily with the help of the United States. 20 million dead a war of complete destruction and a comeback for the ages.
The Centurion tank would pair perfectly with the Meteor jet and would undoubtedly be the best tank in the game.
Better than the KV, I get that is suppose to be the most amazing tank but I hate that thing so much it is hard to see and you cannot pop out of the hatch. The best tank is subjective to BR. The Russian heavy takes far to long to load.
It does some serious damage but it is the tank in game that I feel trapped in.

No, you “lent” Britain, and pretty much bankrupted her…
We gave you your independence, albeit through a pointless and costly experience. Looking at the current state of affairs, you all probably should have stuck with us, just saying… lol.
Simply not true, and completely debunked. Hitler wanted, more than anything, to join Great Britain as equal Empires. If the UK capitulated, all he wanted was some of the colonies. He was never serious about Operation Sealion, and when the RAF won the Battle of Britain, he knew that an invasion was impossible. Even if the Nazis had won, we’d still be speaking English.
Again, “LEND-Lease”. The USA made sure the Europeans repaid the favour, and literally bankrupted the UK in the process. We had to sell the USA our gold stores. We went through one of the toughest economic times since WWI in the 1970s, all because of the USA’s insistence that we repaid them. Even we cancelled our reparations of Germany after WWI, after less than 10 years because we knew it was crippling their economy. The USA wasn’t so lenient.
Our Commonwealth helped not only to win the war, which we would have done against Germany eventually without the US help, but also repay the bullshit so-called “lend-lease” debt that the USA simply couldn’t forgive.
Oh, and the USSR would have completely destroyed the Nazis even without the US help, simply because Hitler decided he was some kind of war-god and a complete drug addict, and had no idea what was really going on from about 1943 onwards.
