Once again, change matches so BR 1 is 0/0

Just played a match as Japan BR1 and our team got walked over by especially 2 players who fielded mostly squads with PPS-42 and PPS-43.
Needless to say our team, that had no veteran BR2 players as far as I could tell, didn’t stand a chance. Multible players on our team simply quit because they didn’t find it fun to spawn, get sprayed down by assaulters again and again.

If this game is to attact new players and keep them, experiencing an onslaught is not the way. Keep BR1 to itself so people can find out that this game is actually quite fun to play.

  • Yes - give the noobs a chance to learn the ropes
  • No - I like seal clubbing

All or none. Doing it just for BR1 is just going to make seal clubbing worse

I agree. But we keep hearing that Enlisted hasn’t got the playerbase to support BR 0/0 for all BR’s. So my point is that they make it at least for BR1.

this would have happened even if veteran team was BR1 against team full of BR2 newbies. game is full of roflstomps and no ±0 MM will help with that…

Yep, but then it would be skills and not gear that won the battle which, in my opinion, is better.

Nah, i also very rarely play BR1 these days because PPS43 is a BR3 weapon that melts bolt action rifles even at longer ranges.

While at the same time I dont play BR2 and BR3 because KV1 is OP.

So locking BR1 specifically would allow me to have fun with bolt actions again.

there are loads of shit players even on BR5, so i cant tell you that roflstomps are never good, regardless if it was cause of skill or cause of weapons. weapon equality only matters if 2 teams are equal, but considering that most teammates are braindead, ±1MM really doesnt matter. only thing that could help in this case is SBMM, but enlisted doesnt have playerbase for it, neither people want it.

Combating the recent power creep with just one additional BR could help lower the power jumps from BRs in general.

Maybe thats even all we need.

br 1 in particular has powerful event and premium squads so the imbalance is already there between new and veteran players

I am noticing a pattern with each of these frequent suggestion. And yes it’s every month or two.

It’s always, lock the BR system, change the matchmaking.
Yet it always comes down to a simple answer, we don’t have the manpower to introduce such a change.

So why not do it the other way around, if BR II SMG spam or whatever other weapon/vehicle is so hurtful, why not just limit it’s usage when down tiered with BR I players? And you know what, do that for every BR. It might even breathe life into BR IV, who knows.

It does not introduce a restrictive matchmaking but is rather restrictive to abusive playstyles.

“No buddy, you can’t spawn a second or third SMG/vehicle squad in a row in an already favoured match. Go take a boltie and learn to actually aim, dipshit.”

Perhaps think outside the box? Might even lead to more engineers being used and less sealclubbing spammers in lower BRs since they aren’t worth much if they can’t spray their SMGs around willy-nilly.

I really dont like artificial limitations, people should be able to choose from different options- the solution should always be proper balance, and instead of moving PPS43 to BR3, the devs decided to give Allies a BR3 Thompson at BR2 and giving Germany BP and event BR3 SMGs at BR2.

This was a mistake.

Really? And what is stopping those with sealclubbing spam fetishists to go over to BR I and just do the same thing with any of those weapons. You might argue effectiveness, sure, it might be not as good at sealclubbing as the BR II stuff, but it’ll still beat BR I newbies to a pulp.

No offense, but the devs haven’t achieved that at a single BR level in the past years and definitely aren’t going to any time soon, given by your own words, they’re working against it with the new changes.

Really? Different options? Last I’ve seen everybody is rather fond of going and maintaining the META spam SMG approach. Not really exercising the freedom of options or experimenting, are the people?
I am unsure as to why you’re unbothered/fine with maintaining it though, given it is that exact approach that’s being utilized for sealclubbing in the first place, the sealclubbing you yourself are against?

I dont know what OP BR1 SMGs you are talking about to be honest

Does it have to be OP to classify for sealclubbing? Here I though seeing people sealclub with MP-40s worked just fine against most of my teammates and those hardly compare to PPS.

You think having slightly less mag capacity, slightly worse recoil using BR I SMGs is going to temper down the sealclubbers? Yeah, they might not squad wipe, in a single mag, but I don’t think those 2.4 / 2.6 seconds of reloading are going to do BR I newbies any real favour. It’ll still remain as the go-to category of weapons for sealclubbing.

Dont know about you, but I think all BR1 SMGs are totally fine compared to bolt actions, maybe Sten or 20 rounder Beretta can be nasty, but they have their own weaknesses.

There is a massive difference between a bolt action rifle and PPS43, whole MP34 is totally fine in BR1

Oh, well I can’t say the alternative on Soviets seems that much worse.

10 rounds less, faster RPM, 0.1 sec reload increase, 0.3 less HP and better vert at a slight cost of horizontal.
I might cherry pick the Soviets, but since those seem to be perceived as the biggest problem at BR II, am sure those sealclubbers will be in tears after having to downgrade to this.

Oh nevermind, I understand now why you’re hellbent on not restricting squad spam spawning.

You are a continuous vehicle spammer. Of course you’d fucking hate being restricted.
Here I was wondering why you dislike the idea so much and my intuition led me to checking your replays.
Wonderful little thing aren’t they. Giving out a person, who of course covers his own interests and hides behind a fucking pretence of caring about sealclubbing.

Oh the BR II SMGs are such a problem when being spammed? I am sure BR I players also enjoy being HEd to death by your tank or bombed by your plane continuously for the whole match without you ever stepping a foot on the ground.

No wonder you’re up for BR Lock, it would hardly matter to you, you’d still be able to vehicle spam regardless. But actually hurting the sealclubbers by restricting their toys? Of course not, you abuse the same mechanic as they do, that’d actually hurt you.

Pathetic looser, you really feel like you need to check my personal playstyle in order to win an argument.

You should get another hobby.

I agree +0 mm is the ideal but with how the current state of this Game is well… Idk if it’s gonna work

No I was just highly suspicious, since any guy actually worried about sealclubbing has enough honour and dignity to not engage in the same META the sealclubbers use and certainly would not be so defensive of restricting spamming in the first place.

You said you’d enjoy bolts at BR I. MF you don’t play infantry at all except for APCs, and let alone bolts. Nice cover story though  , had me for a while.
