Putting away the gun was originally to avoid players such as “Rabbit Jump”, but now this feature obviously affects the normal play of players. Changing the mechanism of putting away the gun to increase recoil or shoot for a walk would be a better option.

I don’t mind countering the bunny hopping, but the inconsistent stutter drop because you stepped into some rubble or down some stairs needs to stop.

Yes, that’s why they need to remove this feature. The existing feature is really stupid.
Imagine that when you go downstairs to confront your enemy or are entering the interior of a bunker from above, you need to put away your gun first to counterattack, which is not correct.
