After a bit of discussion, I decided to type up the idea for the forums. A way to obtain older event squads. The goal is to make it so that content can be obtained by new players that may not have played at the time, while still giving some nod to those that played the original event.
So, how does it work … essentially, its an event like we have now … but we are adding a very high participation (ie the last possible reward) of an Event Squad Claim Ticket that could be used to claim a single event squad from history you do not have.
Rules I would like to see followed:
- For squads that are claimable, it will have been over 1 year since their release.
- Modified Event Squad Icon to differentiate (could be as simple as inverting the color) original from redux claimed.
Claiming would work similar to how the event weapons are added to the shop.
With the Steam release upcoming, there should be some additional eyes on the game … as such, anything that improves NPE viewpoint I think is a good idea, but I understand there is some exclusivity that is there for some players, as such the event squad icon idea keeps that badge of honor to those that completed it in the original event. (IE bragging rights, etc)

Yeah took em a while to get to previous gen so I had to wait on that. Lol
I missed the very long AT rifle guys 
I think that’s about it. Miraculous considering I can barely play enough to unlock present event squads. (Christmas evant was really unpleasant…)
From the xmas event? Yes. Not bad at all in truth. I could use only ass 44 but…
I prefer variations. Plus, those guys in the Berlin park hide real well

I often wonder what the hell went through Kalashinikovs mind when he designed that thing.
It uses a screw delayed blowback and fires from a closed bolt, Its sort of like a Lee Enfield action but with delayed blowback. Anyway it was very impressive to the high command but ultimately it was too expensive to produce.
He would later design the AK-47 from the design of Sudayev’s AS-44 or the M1 Garand.

i can, it’s 25 rounds being fully sent at 920 rpm so ammo is not in it’s dictionary

There’s a weird br compression imo.
I feel sorry for all those newcomers who will be at the receiving end of such smg… it’s so good it can compete at br 5 with ease.

I’m quite jealous as I started playing in Dec of 2021, only about two months after the event with the Uhu I believe, just such a unique aircraft, I’ll also add I haven’t seen one on the battlefield for probably about 8 or 9 months, can for sure say I haven’t seen one since the merge. I’m guessing that’s probably because of its somewhat mediocre bomb load compared to other German aircraft, and just due to the fact of how rare it is.
The at rifle event was the grindiest event ever. I didnt even try playing it

you are far off, uhu was in the first enlisted event which was summer of 2021
Ah had a feeling I was, I just knew that it was a little before I started playing.
