Official discord - where are all the players?

I am still playing Enlisted and have been since CBT Berlin, 8.8k hours near enough, I have seen this game progress and regress over time, now I miss playing with people, most of my clan moved in to other stuff to not bother responding, I joined another and again 2/3 people at most diff timezones.

So I thought why not look for people on official discord, nobody in VC anymore? I fail to believe this game is no longer as popular, still by far the best WW2 gun game I have played… I think the old player base moves on, there are still new players, it’s just finding them. (Now if I have a good fight I invite them to my in game contacts), kinda figured out the guessing their BR thing too…

This is not a naysayer post, you are not welcome to comment if it is negative, but for the newbies, fans like me, have you also noticed a decline in old faces?

The only ‘famous’ person I’ve seen while playing is quadro, but only once.

I’m in the Philippines and most of my games are played between 3 pm and 6 pm Philippine time, which is roughly 3 am to 6 am US Eastern Standard time. I usually play when my daily rewards reset, which is at 3. Lately if I play Soviets BR3, it takes over two minutes to get a game and it ends up being against mostly bots.

Just found 2 people on the official discord, had a great match Allied BR3, will keep looking for people!

In my matches I play on PS5 (i am a GER main) i send friend requests to the best players and message them and then form mini-group chats and then when we are all on, we shoot the sh*t and play. Found some really nice and cool people this way

Expat? I lived in Vietnam and Thailand for 8 years between the two.

Yes, I moved from Florida US to Puerto Princesa Palawan Philippines in June of 2023, then moved to Dumaguete on the Island of Negros Oriental in April of 2025. I can only get tourist visa’s for three years, so I am flying back to the US in May for about five weeks. I have to renew my passport, so that’s why around five weeks. I’m going to be getting married later this year, then may consider a permanent residence.

I haven’t been to Thailand or Vietnam, but they’re both on the agenda. If for some reason my airline tickets get changed, I might cancel and just fly to Guam. Shorter, and then just renew my passport at the US Embassy in the Philippines.

Keep im mind that this game is dead.

Here on the forum, conversations are censored.

People feel more comfortable talking elsewhere. Discord and Telegram have much better groups than this forum.

There you’ll find the few players who are left in this game.

Sorry don’t agree, are you still playing and saying this?

I lived in Vietnam for a year in the early 2000’s when I was doing business. Then Thailand for 7 years when I took time to do a semi retirement at 40 and still kind of young enough to enjoy those places. Loved it! Like in Bangkok for a few years, on the gulf a few years and a place called Kanchanburi which is famous for the Bridge over the river Kwai (I was about 200m from it). It is another world overseas. I would have to the visa runs but every 9 months until I got married. Use to be super easy and a great excuse to explore the region. Siam Riep and Angkor are still some of my favorites. One of my passports ran out of pages and I got mine replaced overseas as well. I was lucky they stamped my appended pages or I would have been stuck on the Lao Thai border. Marriage always fun in those cultures I lucked out with my xwife her family was one of the first people to cultivate Egyptian melons in Thailand. She had all kinds of assets but I did not buy into the culture since as a westerner there was no return like if I was a Thai husband. Just remember that once you get married the expectations go through the roof.If you are from Florida I bet you adjusted quickly. Holy crap those places are hot and humid.

I have a UK friend who currently lives there.

The wonders in the jungle around there are amazing. Its not just Angkor wat, there are 100’s of buildings. I have been twice and go twice each time I go. It is impressive. Other parts of Cambodia are dark and from another time. Siam reap is a important income stream for the country.

At some time I might go visit Cambodia. Lots of places to go from here, and cheaper to fly on this side of the earth then the other. I bought my US plane ticket before the Iran war started, so round trip was $1,600, but I wouldn’t doubt it would be outrages to buy now. They’ve since changed it, so now I have a 12:55 hour layover in Manila, and 12:34 hour in Los Angeles on the way back, and only a 30 minute layover in Washington DC. I could miss that one easily if everything is not perfect. If they make changes again, I might just cancel and fly instead to Guam for a couple days.

OUCH! Geez my last ticket to Thailand was 632$ from Seattle flying Singapore air. Yours is an embassy passport issue. When I lived in Thailand it was just a border hop at worst a flight to Cambodia which I enjoyed. I had a 9 hour lay over in Singapore last November and it was the middle of the night. Everything closed and no place to sleep because of all the Chinese tourists thinking its 3 lounges per person so their luggage had a place to sleep. I do not know why you do not go to Malaysia, Singapore or Thailand for that matter. They are way closer and Thailand has a major embassy in 2 places. I did mine in Bkk. Also BKK airport is easy access to the city and what a city it is!

Yes, but Guam has K-Mart so maybe I can find some clothes that actually fit me, other then the child sizes they sell here in the Philippines. I miss Walmart, and self check out. I was going to do some banking things also and see my sister, but after the Airlines changed my flight arrangements, I am not so excited about the trip. I can just fly 50 minutes to Cebu and do my passport at the US consulate, which if I change my flight to Guam, I will do. I’ll be getting married sometime this year, so hopefully this will be the last time my visa will expire and I have to leave because I will get the marriage visa.
