Notes to be taken for Enlisted devs from another game

Source on “most people”?
Did I miss an ingame poll with at least ten thousand respondents?
Or you mean the forums crown with 20 (!) likes average data?

In my experience most people expect WW2 when they launch WW2 games.
Also most people want to fix things, not make them worse for no reason.

While there is zero evidence of it ever being present at Stalingrad, and the first MKB captured by the Soviets dates to summer of 1943, I would still be against it, however it’s not as bad of an offender indeed (was used around there, adopted by the military and started being mass produced by the end of the battle.

However RD-44, AS-44 and other stuff that was never even adopted are much worse.

Most people want to experience WW2, you are correct, but most people dont know much about it and don’t even know those guns shoudn’t be in game, they just enjoy them nonetheless.

So they won’t see a difference between G41/G43 or Mkb/STG, then why not make a relatively believable game and satisfy not just the ignorant but also those who know? Win-win.

Again, fixing the problems, not enhancing them.

I know difference and i still want more guns in enlisted, because its why is enlisted better then other games imo, and that is it has biggest arsenal of weapons of any FPS game that is set in WW2, at least not come in my mind.
But we woudnt have those weapons if we had HA.

Well, Enlisted is a war thunder mod. It will follow the same logic: prototypes, prototypes with some additional prototypes and a hint of prototypes…

All those gold order weapons, or strange unorthodox premium squads…

Nothing much to do about it. Snail keeps hooking players by adding content, so they keep pumping more in.

I don’t really mind it, thought. Enlisted is as arcade as it gets, is HEAVILY censored, and will merge all campaigns in a big clusterfu***. It is what it is, a fun arcade game. Knowing this, it belongs to us to decide whether we prefer a game with plausible setting like Red Orchestra or HLL, or keep having fun here, doing silly gunplay.
What is certain, is that Enlisted will never go the historically accurate route. We’re way past that.

Tutti Fruitti, and all kinds of ah whip cream and walnuts!

Even without paper guns the arsenal is huge. And can be even bigger if they add other mations and their authentic weapons.

Besides, full on fantasy battles are already possible in customs and mods.
(because that’s what they are, custom experiences)

True. Real men used Mosin, or K98 thought. Smgs were often taken by newcomers, as it’s a very easy weapon to use.

There even was a difficulty rating with classes, puting assaulters as easiest (just like Enlisted) and anti tank guy and commander as hardest.

There was always 1, or 2 sniper maximum per side, 1 single officer, 1 or 2 lmg servants, 2 to 5 assaulters, 2 demolition experts and the rest, men with bolt actions.

Those limits worked perfectly, made gaming pace great.

I wouldnt mind seeing whole italian army in east front with their vehicles( noth with safari hats tough). They send nearly quarther of a million soldiers which is equivalent nearly 5 field armies.
