Not able to add a friend with crossplay

I am on PC and my friend is on PS5. If we turn of join any team and hit play at the same time we can join a game together. But if i search for their account to add them to my squad, they do not come up. if i try to click on their name in-game i only have the option to complain. Is there anyway to add my friend so we can play together in squad? We’ve being playing war thunder together for years now want to try enlisted. Thoughts?
