M10 This one was jury rigged by crews. This unofficial roof kit was standardized in two versions in the 813th Tank Destroyer Battalion. One version was a partial cover and ther other was a full cover, as shown. This was not a jury rigged thing, but instead more like how the Jumbo originated, where the exact same field modification was done on a number of vehicles. Not enough/not well known enough in this case to warrant its own designation, however.
M18 This was a roof kit that was tested but never authorized for production.
M36 This was its own distinct variant of the M36. This roof kit was factory fitted to all M36B2s and was also field fitted to an unknown number of M36s and M36B1s. This was mostly a post war kit, but there were many improvised roofs made during the war. Some of these were almost identical to the official production one and likely influencing its design, others were very different. Such as this M36 with an improvised semi-closed roof.
the only other 2 options would be the m26 perishing witch is a medium tank
and the t 26 which is a heavy tank not to confused with the t 26 super perishing
but also the m5 stuart is 2.0 br and the puma is 4.3 when the puma should be the short barreled one no the long barrel at 2.3 would also make it a little fairer
and the m8 scott is 1.3 br and the pz3n is 3.0
And this is why we shouldn’t see them. Berlin alright (it’s P version anyway with shitty turret as a weak spot) but H version in Normandy no. Maybe later on Bulge map in another campaign.
Guys, are we playing the same Normandy? I swear Normandy has the biggest maps that are “unused” by objectives out of all of them (minus Tunisia maybe). I can say 2 maps off the top of my head (D-Day and Ver sur mer’s first two points) that are funnel maps, the rest are really open imo (unless we consider Invasion itself a funnel which is then very much unfair since literally every campaign has invasion as a gamemode).
