I don’t mind playing axis, just… Its every game with “join any” selected. That and I think I won once in the past 5 games. Not that I care, because I am absolutely giving the allies a black eye. Had a game where there must have been 30+ allies tanks destroyed.
Normandy is tilted towards to the Allies right now, probably since the para gear is more interesting and unique. Or maybe because people want better stuff to take to the pacific after the merge perhaps.
It’s probably putting you in axis more since there’s less players there currently, hence reduced wait time but unbalanced games.
Normandy is leaning towards the allies because the developers looked at the “statistics”. In the end, they just made it so that the allies lose less points for the destroyed squad + capture points much faster. In the case of the Axis, the developers did the opposite - the Axis takes points longer and each squad costs a lot of respawn points.

Paratroopers have nothing to do with it, just the developers did with the axis in Normandy what they did with the USSR in any other campaign. As a result, the developers literally tell you: you can only win against noobs or bots.

“Join any side” will by definition put you on the side where there are currently less people on queue, so it is to be expected to enter matches where the red team will have an advantage in number of real players. This isn’t even related to factions balance, just on raw players count at a specific time.

“join any side” will have some sort of experience bonus.
but as usual, left for interpretation / imagination with no real date or further detail.

its mostly because people who has finished normandy leaved for berlin to get the fg42 2 and tiger 2, thus leaving a hole of inexperienced players in their place
Seems more sweaty players play Pacific Allies lately while its been Allies dominated in Normandy for awhile already.

there are numerous reasons why current campaigns are fail. they were last “balanced” by devs when axis normandy and soviet berlin were at peak playerbase, so it is now much easier to play allies normandy and axis berlin. not to mention end game gear grind, so people are grinding those campaign/factions with highest gear level.

Whether a side is currently winning or losing depends on the day of the week and the time.
Personally, I don’t mind playing 1 vs 10. The worst is when the opposing team consists of players who have only three assault teams and the fight is in the last place, they just go to take points, not looking at the fact that the longer the battle, the more exp they get .
