I am grindin with german team in normandy. Allies are so bad that in defensive games i really think we are the real attackers lol. If games just give freedom to move in restricted areas, axis can even drive them to the sea. Offense games just turn into duck hunting generally. Just couple of months ago i could encounter very good teams and competitive matches over and over again. Nowadays they dont even try. Even axis in tunisia is not that bad.

All campaigns are very one-sided. The exact situation changes over time (sometimes even the dominant side changes like it happened with Berlin), but they all regularly settle into this PvE stage. Also the current event makes it worse, as Enlisted events tend to do.
Just wait for the P-47 and M1919.
I’ve never had much problem playing as either side of the Normandy campaign. You usually get decent teammates regardless which side you pick, unlike pretty much every other campaign.

i don’t really like the 1919 and would rather take a BARa2 with me instead
BAR is great as a makeshift assault rifle, but M1919 is better at doing proper MG job, arguably just as effective as MG42 / MG34.

BARa2 isn’t a slouch in the LMG role either and it’s much more versatile than 1919 due to a 2 second reload it has
Oh yes, I definitely don’t mean to imply that BARA2 is bad.
But I gladly save a place for a M1919 guy both in my BAR gunners squad and in my Tommygun Assaulters squad. 
Also, secondary benefit of the M1919:
Guy with BAR dies, next soldier picks up the gun - he gets 20+20 rds at best.
Guy with M1919 dies, next soldier picks up the gun - he gets 100 rds guaranteed, up to 200 max >:)
Are you on NA servers or EU?
I feel like the overwhelming majority of Normandy Allies players are on NA servers (naturally), while in Europe there are not too many dedicated fans and Germany usually stomps with Tigers and STGs.

i am grinding normandy allies on EU and currently i have 20% less win % than with axis. axis usually has more human players and they are more often fully leveled up. also there are some bad maps that favor axis side. DF usually balances it with reinforcements, but when you have shit team, reinforcements just prolong the pain…

the jumbo has nothing to do with a Panther, the m2 carabine has the devil’s recoil and the p47 is dangerous as fuck. nothing to say about the plane.
THe other 2 examples… just pointing that the FG-42 is better and the Panther is better. that’s all

D day map has axis in defense with lots of MG-nests, wich became very hard to demolish
