Fun fact, it’s not actually all bots, it’s just the thing of most new players will end up playing Normandy as their first campaign, as they are met with Normandy Allies off of first getting into the game, and mixed with no matchmaking lets you see the worse side of players in f2p games

I recently came to the conclusion that normandy Ally need a new wunderwaffen.
But not because Axe is better. (You can actually do lots of good stuff with Ally and if you know how to play you can carry your team.) But because Normandy ally is maybe the first choice of most new player and it adding a new wunderwaffen will help the player base: having a little more veteran with you may help improve your experience.
If a new player want to stay in and discover more about how amazing Enlisted is, his first experience should be a little more pleasant.
At the weapon don’t make a difference (the perfect exemple is Tusinia, where for no reason the winning camp just switch from ally to axis), the player base do.
But this conclusion is only based on the supposition that most new player start with Normandy Ally, which is maybe not true.
Sorry but where did you get that?
The first time you launch the game you are free to choose any campaign and faction (which is also somewhat misleading as people might think you don’t have am easy way to switch later on).
I, for one, picked Moscow USSR on my first day.

The “new players” are not just North Americans who what to storm them beaches, right?
I got a theory:
Me too, and there are 2 reasons behind this:
1st is chronological order - I prefer to go from early campaigns, to the late war, to see the progression of weaponry.
2nd is regional nuances - I am from… Central Europe, so I’d be more interested in the Eastern Front, and conflicts concerning Soviet Union and Germany.
But, I have to admit, that even front lines, far away from more known areas, have their charms.
It’s a very compelling… scenario. There are several games trying to mimic this and otherwise show action on the beaches of Normandy:
Company of Heroes did it,
Call of Duty did it…
So, I’m not surprised that some folks try to get that “golden middle” of movie authencity-like.
Invasion of Normandy is… kind of a big deal in media.
I’ve personally invited 10 players myself with only 2 going to Berlin Allies, alongside watching newer players in the official discord mention how they went Normandy Allies to start off
Will admit I did word it horribly, so I’ll restate it better:
A lot of players tend to gravitate towards Normandy Allies for one reason or another
So far I witnessed s that any Normandy alies stack destroy any German team to this day.
Alone, is still fun, but a fking pain,.
Alies have amazing weapons that do the same job or even beter, nothing Germans can trow us can’t deal with, but low rank players, us players maybe, tend to play it more and it’s just a pain to carry.
I have played last week mostly in normandy as alies, And I agree most times esc quit is recommended.
I would be curious to know if any of them live East of Berlin.
