With regards to controlling plane flight on PS4, I find that just touching the controller results in a moderate swaying motion. It seems that smooth, analog motion is not possible, making it hard to have fine aim.
I’ve tried both a Logitech joystick as well as a mouse. I don’t recall any flight simulators I’ve played on PC having this kind of “jerkiness”. Generally, if I tilt the stick a little left, the plane banks ever-so-slightly, commensurate with the pressure I’m applying on PC joystick. This is not the case on PS4.
While the swaying of the sights reduced a lot when I enabled the perk for swaying head movement, it’s still sways too much.
Is it possible this has to do with the nonlinearity adjustment, as I haven’t been able to figure out if that will soften the input “weight”? I’ve tried varying levels on nonlinearity but can’t perceive what it does.
