No one is willing to build a resurrection point

Why are so many people unwilling to build it in this game? Because it is a purely altruistic act and you will not get much benefit.
Building a rally point is a waste of time. After you build it, you will still line up like everyone else, and you will only get a pitiful 45 points. If I throw a few grenades in front of me during this time, I will still get more than this pitiful score.

So everyone chooses not to build it for their own benefit, why should they build it? That will only hurt my efficiency in gaining EXP

The whole atmosphere is full of damn selfishness

I sometimes do it myself, and what do I get? There is a respawn queue that is so long that it makes people collapse. My own respawn point is occupied by teammates who do not build a respawn point. I can’t even jump in the queue.

What did I get? A pitiful 45 points is like a score given to a beggar

it all comes down to…

you want to win the game? or not.

no one places a rally?

place one.

or don’t.

i don’t think we should spoon feeding features though increase of xps.

beside, i’m somewhat happy that not everyone place them.

otherwise the game would become much more boring and averange match would last even less than it currently is.

perhaps unpopular opinion.

I think the situation would be better if you could jump in line and be resurrected. If others don’t want to be jumped in line, they can fix it themselves.

More effort means more rights

In addition, if only one player builds a resurrection point, he will not win in many cases. You have worked hard but there is no reward, which will make people depressed for a while.

I dont build rallies if the team refuse to do it. It is either - at least 3- 4 players build rallies or - no one.

If you start building rallies for idiots then they will become more greedy and will never build nothing themselves.

So - you will not be able to use a tank or plane, you will end with building rallies for idiots who will still loose eventually.

Yeah, you get nothing, just frustration

eh…

dunno about that.

sounds interesting on paper, but without proper balancement, would just end up replacing rallies and almost shit tons of medics running around reviving anyone under fire like it was on BF3.

plus, wouldn’t really be realistic.

but cool to see and a function that i would love to have in mods.

EDIT.

ah, perhaps you are talking about skipping the que as you built that rally point.

sure, i guess.

well… in enlisted you earn more points destroying tanks.
not rallies.

but in the end, what makes you win, majority of the times are rallies. not tanks.

your reward is the 1.5 at the end.

( if you win ).

No…

If I want to make max xp, I build rallies, always. They give xp when ppl spawn from them, and help win the match, which is even better xp.

I don’t bother building them when in a team that just uses our opponents as doormats, thought. It’s unnecessary as the match is one side and too fast.

That philosophy does not work when you have a booster especially when it’s 300

This game is built on selfishness and kill hoarding instead of helping the team or working together so there’s not much incentive to work together really.

When your team is

Too bad majority of the playerbase is like what the video says as they don’t even build rally points that’s very important to win the match.

It takes too long to build them even with building perk, people are lazy and don’t want to spend so much time on building them while they could be shooting. They should make base building speed +40% and upgraded at +80%, plus give more points for building it. Plus one person should be able to build more than a single spawn beacon as long as the use different engineer.

subnormal = retarded
in case people dont know

I build them usually on my way to an objective only times I dont is when I’m either leveling a new squad that does’nt have a engineer yet, or noone in our team needs one because we are racing eachother to the next objectives. I find most of my teams look like that scoreboard Wieloglow posted, unless I play with a squadmate I have to go into every game assuming I’ll have to do fucking everything myself, build rally, play objective sweep for enemy rally, whatever. I don’t think building the rally itself takes too long but when I’m still leading the charge after building one for 30 seconds cause my team is a bunch of cowards, then I’m then attacking an objective where all my enemies had 30 more seconds to prepare and position and get ready, and that is pretty big, it’s the difference between them and their squads still running ing the back and them being posted up in windows looking my way waiting for me to appear.

I think the points gained are pretty decent, esp. if yours is the only one up. I have given up on stupid teams though a lot of times now if I’m the only one building rally and something happens to mine and noone wants to pick up the slack I will just the leave them to their fate and try to find a better game. I look at the desert match button more like a server browser these days, I’ve played enough horrible games here to know when a team is just roping for 20 mins and they don’t need me to accomplish that.

I personally build one when others do not. But in some campaigns (Normandy teams were cool

Lol, don’t be so short-sighted. How long does it takes to go to a place and build a rally point? Maybe 30 seconds. How many points you can get in 30 s ? Moreover a rally point can be use multiple time so the overall point you will get is way more. In addition, rally points can save you a lot of time because you don’t need to run 100+ meters from the default spawn to the cap zone.

well, people don’t build rally point because they’re either dumb, really dumb, didn’t have any engineer whatsoever (kinda dumb), their engineer is already dead and they didn’t have any spare engineer, their current squad have no engineer and they’re too good to die.

you know, why couldn’t the dev just… make the exp and whatnot you get from battle pooled? like, the entire team score is combined and then distributed to the players. if you got those fancy medals, your share get multiplied.
i think that will somewhat encourage team play more, and make me feel less inclined to hurl insults to the team when they think they’re playing battlefield or other action shooter for super fast smooth brain zoomer.

The opinion that constructing a rally point is an altruistic act is questionable.
I build it because I want to use it myself.
There is certainly the problem of not being able to use my rally point because someone else is using it, and I wish they would let me use a priority queue or something.
If other players don’t build a rally it’s either simply because they are newbies and don’t know the benefits of building it, or they are F2P players with very limited squad slots and don’t have an engineer on their team.

If you want to win or get the high scores, you build rallies. Its as simple as that.

Never mind that the other chumps arent.

Keeps you close to where the point$$$ are made, and therefore more efficient.

There is nothing efficient about no rallies
