Maybe they are revising the economy based on our feedback(?), but also they will have to remove Christmas trees now too, plus hopefully some other goodies.

Don’t think so. They just announced the update in advance. I expect the trees to be removed when that drops.
This update should most likely come in the next few days (if not later today). At least according to Keofox.
However, if they need more time to fix the logistics equipment mess, then so be it.

I’m talking about the Enlisted weekly news, not just economy, bug fixes, like we got last year.
After the victory of the community, for keeping the prices of the kits and others in bronze, the developers must be reworking the prices and that is why it must be taking a while, although I do not think that update will happen this week.

I hope they keep the snow particles in the main menu. It creates a neat Bokeh effect in some cases /w the UI.
If really want a barracks for the troops
When it’s ready.
Let them take the time they need.
Rather wait for proper content than a rushed one.

I wish they’d make it so whenever you change campaigns, the main menu changes to a location in that campaign so you can see your soldiers in their own environment(s). Battlefield 1 did that with the loadout screen and it was pretty neat.
