It either needs to be moved or it needs to take time (like in war thunder)
It would be saucy if one of your dudes got out of the vehicle and you could see him handing shells up to the crew.

I wouldn’t mind it taking time, but if its way back in your spawn the travel time getting to and from it would suffice for me since tanks in this aren’t nearly as zippy as War Thunder’s.
I don’t even want to begin to imagine how buggy and jank this would be.

More time wasting while getting useless class in campaing. I don’t know what people are happy about here.
I don’t mind mortars, they’re useful, but it’s not like squads carried 50 shells with them. The guys firing mortars constantly were like more than a mile away from the battle.
Why are we addressing ourselves in third person? We royal?

Mortars if played correctly can still be used to devastating effect. It’s only the “spam like crazy” factor that has been removed. Instead of lobbing 25+ bombs in rapid succession on the same spot you send 2-3, then wait, or relocate, or… play, really. Still terrifying in capable hands to dislodge defenders and sometimes ward off attackers.
