No Manual V-Sync Option on Xbox Series X?

I do not know if I’m even in the right place, but here is the predicament I’m facing, I use a TCL 43s45 4K UHD tv, with only a 60hz refresh rate, and it works just fine for literally every other game in the world despite not having access to VRR (Variable Refresh Rate)

I am writing this because as much as I enjoy the game immensely, I get serious screen tearing that really bugs me as I’m trying to aim and generally enjoy the game. Minor frame drops I can happily handle, but screen tearing is the worst. This begs the question, could there not be an option for a manual V-Sync toggle so that I don’t have to spend +$600 on a TV that supports VRR, I just find it very odd

And of course if I am missing something or there is a way to stop screen tearing with absolutely no VRR, I’d would be very grateful to anyone who could help me out with that, other than that I love this game

I don’t use a console, so I’m speaking from complete ignorance, but… The game should have an option to disable the problem, right? Or is it not possible on consoles?

Also try blocking the refresh rate of the game that your TV supports.

The game has no options regarding refresh rate or vsync, the only options available are for minor visual effects and motion blur

You’ll have to submit a ticket because that means the developers need to do something.

Welcome to the forum.

There is probably not much you can do on your end.

Since the last major update other Xbox users have reported similar issues. One of our community managers acknowledged the problem today so hopefully the fix is front lined.

the FPS Drops and stutters are mainly what they are discussing, which pre update i had no problems on any of that, my issue really just boils down to this, I want a manual option toggle for V-Sync so i don’t get screen tearing because my TV doesn’t support VRR. It’s a very basic feature that would not require me to shell out hundreds of dollars on a new tv to get access to VRR and fix the issue

It’s not your stuff causing the issues its the dog water updates they decide to work on last minute to hit their deadlines. the recent update made a lot of people that uses xbox have issues so best thing to do is wait a few more days ( hopefully less than that) before playing enlisted.

I do want to say the recent update has a lot of good content but its every update theres new bugs with graphics and fps issues that is the issue.
