Could we have an indicator for Machine Gun Bipod Deployment
I thought Machine Gun Bipod is only deployed when I am prone, but I found that sometimes it will be deployed when I am crouching by a window. There is a couple issue with it:
a. It should be deployed when I am crouching by the window, and putting the bipod on the window frame. But a lot of times it does not, and when it doesn’t, the recoil penalty for hip fire persists. Without firing, I don’t know if the bipod works or not.
b. An indicator should light up, telling me that the bipod is deployed and hip-fire penalty is removed.
c. For Battlefield games, their machine gun bipod has an deployment animation followed with a restricted horizontal FOV rotation, so that I know it is deployed.
I understand the nuance to fix all the surfaces and creating new hit boxes/animations only for the bipod. So could we just have the indicator, that the bipod is deployed or not.
