No Halloween event this year?

Hello comrades!

Halloween is one of my favorite times during the year with an awesome atmosphere. I loved the last years “Earth Shield” halloween event.

But that was released on october 24th already. Now its shortly before halloween. Will there be an event this year?

I would be disappointed if it will just be skipped…

I speculate it will come either today or tomorrow, with the sherman event ending tomorrow, but I too hope we get an event this year.

Funny thing about that is that not communicating with your player base does have an impact on the game and player base. Developers that do not communicate with their player base make clear that they really are not invested both in their players and in their game.

All the players get is the occasional message in the news section of the website, which is rather one-sided “communication”.

I think there will be a halloween event since the current event got delayed.

actually, i doubt that there will be a halloween event… since we haven’t even got a teaser or something yet, means even if, i expect it to be a 3-step event with maybe one unique reward…

Developers care less about Halloween events than players. They have a dream called “Active Matter”. Can it be as successful as Duckov?

Maybe Gaijin’s one Enlisted Dev is currently overwhelmed still trying to make game blood look better. :wink:

The lack of teaser is concerning but i don’t see any other reason for them to extend the sherman event. Maybe we will get teaser today and event tomorrow

I’d be alright if they reuse the first Zombie event they did for “April’s Fools” back in 2024 (the one where you held that area with the trenches in front and could purchase better weapons with points etc.).

I might be in the minority here, but I really liked that one (a lot more than those that followed) and thought/hoped they would keep that specific mode officially (so one would not have to rely on mods) and add to it over time (e.g. new maps/areas to hold,) but they sadly did not.
