My grandpa lived through that period, but three of his brothers died because of the Japanese
and Japan has never shown regret for what was done—even now jps still visiting the Yasukuni Shrine and regard these executioners as heroes.

France built the Maginot line. The allies tried to make Germany pay for WW1. Germany entered the WW1 not because of alliances but for African colonies. None of the major powers in ww2 were innocent. The axis were just far worse than the allies even the soviet’s, who committed most of there crimes against there own people. Stop calling the nukes a war crime by no definition were they. US does have actual war crimes the internment camps among them.

Thank you for the reminder and when we look at almost everything coming up to this current day it almost seems like the writing was on the wall Whether it will be with the USS liberty nonsense or the stuff they do with Israel or the stuff the Americans did in the past it just shows even if you’re a hero and you write the history books and things like that it doesn’t inherently mean you’re a good person.
