Night, snow and marsh!

I’m gonna keep this suggestion very simple, but there needs to be more snow Maps, where the snow is thick enough that your character slows down when running in those deeper pockets of snow and the snow needs to be able to be blown up or crater out when artillery fire hits it. Just in general we need more snow maps that is very thick dense snow where there is a looming fog that Coates the battlefield making it very hard to see more than 100 m away.

There needs to be more marshes and wet maps where it’s not only just raining, but the entire map is flooded and covered in slippery sticky mud that again in certain pockets and depth areas slows down the soldier from being able to sprint completely where it turns into a slow march.

No, my third and final point which is 100% something that the game needs to see is a night adaptation for every single math other than battles that did not happen at night, but for sure the Pacific needs to have variations of a night mode, Moscow and Stalingrad, and a late evening setting for some of the Tunisia maps.

Also for Normandy, anything related to D-Day and the assault on the coast should have poor weather with either raining conditions or also a thick looming fog. It would give more atmosphere to the game on those maps rather than just the most beautiful sunny day to fly a kite lol.

Thanks for reading!

Wow, the map environment design is pretty well done. But they still haven’t added the option to use axes and shovels to clear those annoying bushes and trees. Seems your fun ideas will have to wait a really long time. Otherwise, these obstacles will just turn into annoying debuffs for players.

That’s a valid point. Fortunately for you, I am a pilot so the peasants on the ground suffer while I do not. (Laughs while I get shredded from plane behind me)

you know, historicity d-day was a clear day or they would not have attempted the naval invasion right?

No it was not, it was windy, the waves were rough and the visibility was 3miles or so. The clouds were dense but clear enough for naval fire and other air born operations.
