Tunisia could be an interesting thing for sure with sabotage in mind. Could made an somewhat bright moonlighted night with flares or searchlight coming in when the bomb gets armed. Some searchlight in to the air against the planes to would be neat 
Sure would be stupid though since the battle most prob already had started but still something like that

A good mission for the invasion of Normandy would be the airborne one, we start behind enemy lines, with the aim of securing roads and 88 mm anti-aircraft guns, we start when it is still dark and finish when it is almost dawn.

on some campaigns/maps it would be fun, bot on some it it would be too cluttered to see anyone and it would turn to camper nightmare

What are the other weapons that got removed. I believe there were panzershrecks and King Tigers.
It should also not be completely dark, some houses could be lit by candles and the roads and streets lit by lamp posts.

How old is this? Otherwise you could say that this could be introduced when we et the actual map.
my problem isnt necessarily with the darkness
its that all the random map clutter and rubble would be make it even harder to find people hiding in the dark
night maps could work on some more clean maps-tunisia, some normandy and moscow maps, but it definitely wouldnt fit into berlin
morning and evenings would probably also be pretty unfair as it would often basically blind one side
not at all if it is berlin, it would not be a nightmare to clean the houses and everything else, although if it is the maps of the hills of Seelow Heeghs in those maps they could use a night map very well

You’re just gonna have people cheating by raising their Gamma sliders. Myself and many others would be insta-leaving every dusk/night match.
