As topic says, why would this happen? Let’s say you have eng,assault,assault, rifle. Why does it skip the assaulter if i press next soldier when my eng is dead? No one is wounded.
For me in my Assault squads, it automatically switches to my Engineer once m y first Assaulter dies, no matter where in the lineup I place them…it’s very annoying.
