Next campaign

What I want: Operation Ichi-Go
What we’ll probably get: Battle of the Bulge
No evidence, just speculation on my part.

Battle of France would be cool too.

I had two more ideas: Battle of Kursk, or French Resistance

I would much rather them now focus on the lingering tasks at hand.

Bipods
Hull MGs
Alternate shells for tanks (Smoke, Canister)
Progressive AT guns
Reload Animations
More maps for Stalingrad ect
Larger existing maps

They should rework and completely change this single campaign system if its possible. Different suggestions were made cpuntless of times in forum.

What’s your suggestion?

This

That’s an interesting way to do it. How would it address the massive differences say between Moscow, Stalingrad, and Berlin, where it’s the same factions, but in different settings and with different technology?

Make yourself
We dont need another one

Lets say you chose germany. Game gave you 3 mg squads for 3 campaigns. West, east and africa .
These class 1 guys are can unlock 1939-41 weapons. You will be able to use them in every map of their campaigns. Lets say you equipped them with mg34or breda. This weapons were invented even before the war so you can use them in map and year of their campaigns. But you cannot give mg42 to your class 1 soldier. After you unlocked class 2 new brand 3 mg squads you can equip them with bot mg42, breda or 34 BUT you cannot use them in 1939-40 battles.
So why low tiers can play in everywhere everytime with first units but high tier cannot ?

  1. to mantain historical accuracy. I dont want to see tiged 2 s rolling in stalingrad or jumbos in north africa
  2. high tier players ( grind monsters or p2w ) already have experience advantage. They have already unlocked higher tiers so newbies should also can play in other
Well you may say “bu germans didnt have breda mg in berlin war” but this mg ivented in 1930 so theoretically it was possible. But having mh42 in 1940 france is absurdity since you need a time machine for this.
For vehicles: game give you panzer iii. This tank was first used in 1939. So you can play with it in every map and time but you cannot use tiger 2 in every map and time.
For weapons : When you unlock a weapon lets say mg34 you dont have to unlock it 3 times bu juts for .You can give mg 34 to every class 1 soldier. Bu it will be still grindfest like gaijin wants it since boe you have to manage 3 squads just for one squad type

As much as I would love to play French army, please no more campaign until at least half a year.

We need better AI and more maps.
It useless to make new campaign if we let the other die (Yes, i’m talking about you stalingrad)

Agreed

I’d say probably Sicily and/or Italy

Not to mention that slowly over time the other campaigns get new content and expand little by little. Eventually for the Pacific we’ll get other battles like Okinawa, Iwo Jima, etc

I want more campaigns and everything you said. Obviously the devs should take their time, I don’t want them to rush out stuff

A Sicily campaign should be merged with Tunisia

Battle of France
I know I keep mentioning but what about some spy based campaigns or a story mode,

Next campaign will probably be a Soviet campain, since they so far have released 1 Soviet campaign + 1 western allies campaign a year. Not sure what the Soviet campaign will be, but after its release I would want the following campaign to be Early War France OR leave WW2 for a bit and have a Vietnam War campaign.

We could see the Caucasus, Leningrad, Kursk, Barbarossa, any of the Soviet offensives, etc

How about not for a long time. I love this game for being the WW2 immersive sandbox shooter I’ve always wanted. Lets keep it that way for as long as possible

Battle of Budapest could add new factions in Romanians and Hungarians

No more new campaigns for at least a year, please! The devs should focus on the existing ones (new maps, customisation) and should improve AI and the known issues with bipods etc.

Well yes but actually no, because a 1943-45 setting in post-invasion Italy should include late war equipment that shouldn’t be available in Tunisia.
