Well yes but actually no, because a 1943-45 setting in post-invasion Italy should include late war equipment that shouldn’t be available in Tunisia.
they should rather focus on uniting campaigns:
tunisia —> north africa campaign
stalingrad/moscow/berlin —> eastern front campaign
normandy ----> western front campaign
the way the progression would work is pretty simple; you start off in earliest wartime, then as you progress you slowly unlock later war maps/battles and later war equipment;
moscow/stalingrad/normandy/tunisia: you will not have equipment thats been produced outside of the real life battle’s timeline, so basically no MP43, no tiger II, no STG44/45, no panzerfaust for campaigns such as moscow, stalingrad and tunisia.
berlin: this campaign will have all stuff available.
maps would be unlocked based off of the first to last battle in that specific campaign, basically first goes moscow, then stalingrad, then berlin. this is for the eastern front
the other campaigns have so far just 1 battle, so they cant be listed in correct order
if you grind out one entire campaign with all the stuff in it, you will have the same equipment available in other campaigns but with drastically reduced xp, in order to reduce the repetitive grinding. you can’t just hand out the equipment like that to a player, it wouldnt really make sense to grind out the eastern campaign, then have all the equipment be absolutely free in all other earlier war campaigns.
battle timelines:
moscow: 9/30/1941 - 1/7/1942
stalingrad: 23/8/1942 - 2/2/1943
tunisia: 17/11/1942 - 13/5/1943
normandy: 6/6/1944 - 30/8/1944
berlin: 16/4/1945 - 2/5/1945
note: i know that this seems pointless for western and african campaign so far but in the future those campaigns might get a bit more love and get few more battles added to them.

Invasion of Sicily/Italy Campaign or Battle of the Bulge.
We already have alot of Battles. Instead they should introduce new nations into the existing battles, and maybe expand it.
yeah its about time that we get latvians, french, croatians, dutch, estonian, hungarian, romanian, and maybe even finnish and ukrainian squads
I think the siege of Budapest could very well be done as a campaign, with Hungarian German and Soviet units. we haven’t seen Budapest in any other game of this kind, so it would be a unique location, and as a Hungarian, I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only one happy about it.
