Looking at the list of gold order soldiers from the box (and since I don’t find one in my roster) it looks like we never had a gold order assault pilot for the ussr?
If so, please add one to the next BP.

Yekaterina Zelenko would be my suggestion there, being an Su-2 pilot in the war, I know there is some discussion if it was actually a taran attack that finally took her down, but still a cool figure that could be added.
Another option could be Bakhtyuras Besikbayev, from on of the more famous taran attacks, a case of mistaken identity, where Bakhtyuras was denied honours for decades before the truth of it was revealed.
