I don’t wanna sound negative, i want it to be good, but I got a feeling that : no matter what’s coming with next big update, something is gonna be wrong, and i’ll explain :

I’m taking myself as a example here : I got Axis in Normandy max level. Its the only team i got max level, so what’s gonna happen with merging all Axis? The new, and soon to be the only German army, will be max or not?
If it is gonna be, its like “cheating”. Moscow, Stalingrad and Berlin will be 100% and I didn’t even reach level 10 each. I guess i won’t be truly disappointed about skipping hundred of hours of grinding loll but I’m being honest here.
If it is NOT gonna be, i think i’ll just quit Enlisted. There’s no way I’m gonna accept losing my progress, even if all other campaign going up. I’ve played a lot more in Normandy after max level than any other campaign cause i love it more.
Maybe there’s a option #3?
If not, i’ll just vote this : Yes to max level

Everything you unlocked in Normandy will be available to you in the new German tree.

You will have to unlock what Germany had in other campaigns and you did NOT unlock earlier (King Tiger, FG42-II, MP38, MKB etc.).

One of the reasons for the switch to the new system is the possibility to add “new” stuff even if it’s low level and players already unlocked more modern stuff.

yes and no.

if i have to guess, depends many factors, but people will go back for two reasons.

try new stuff,
or, avoid tryharders of latter gear.

since, late gear is going to be quite an effort and investment, you’ll find majority of veterans there. tryharders and if i have to guess, a minority of people that managed to get their ways there.

therefore, might not be really enjoable for occasional players.

on the other hand, even low br might become unfun because of seal clubbers and bad actors playing low brs to get easy kills on newer players and what not.

although, this is speculation on my part. nothing is certain. ( outside that you keep your stuff )
i’d wish for a pve so that people can still have fun, still gain some xps and not damage the matchmaker as not everyone is experienced ( nor should ) while still enjoy the game.

as much i don’t have an issue taking a fight in this game against real player, i’m slowing getting burned out of it. hence, i think a pve would be enjoyable.

speaking of, i’ll be able to post one in the next weeks with mods.

anyway, sorry, went on a tangent there, but i highly reccomend you to check also other past equipment. as might be interesting, and can still be used at latter gears. but, you do you.

I think about your situation you will see you unlocked most of the high level stuff(except for fg422, kingtiger these things unique in berlin) but your low level stuff will still be locked.

No, because you will have to unlock weapons from Moscow (PzB 39) and from Berlin (MG 15).

I agree 1000% with Forum Mom.
We need PVE and a fairer match.
