“We analyzed your feedback and decided to add an additional rule: matchmaking will try to find the battle location that best matches to the participant’s weapons. For example, if the set of all your weapons when playing for the USSR is more consistent with the early period of WWII, then you are more likely to end up in the Moscow winter or on the streets of Stalingrad.”
This will result in 2 scenarios:
Playerbase will be split between Early/Late war maps
or
Playerbase will only play on Late war maps because everyone wants to play with latest gear.
Just say it developers, your goal is not fixing the playerbase, you just want to turn this game into a COD/BFV-ish.
Thanks for deciding for me, that I don’t want to play bolties anymore.
And even if everyone wants to play latest gear, that doesn’t mean that they have it.
As your level progresses, you proceed to late game maps, but you will still have the choice to return to early war by switch to a custom preset with lower rating equipment.
If you cant even afford a BF1/V on sale. Then why should you play Enlisted?
It’s fking much more expensive than a paid to play game.
I have burnt hundreds if not thousands of USD to this game. And this game still wants more.
Because it’s free?
I want to pay mostly to support devs, but I don’t want what to spend money on. Probably, this will be BP or premium.
And I have BF4, Insurgency Sandstorm, paid CS:GO etc. But I want to play Enlisted.
The issues I really see is that Germany needs to satisfy Soviets, 2/3 of US and however they wanna introduce the Tommies and rn most Axis simp late war gear and that Japan will be boring ass to play. And who know how long the tech tree will be/ if they copy from War Thunder more than they should.
It’s a soft rule, so if the MM doesn’t find a match fast enough, it will be lifted and will just search for players with similar loadouts rather than similar time periods. And if you still aren’t finding a match, the loadout spread will slowly get larger until you do.
