New update: the good, the improvable, and the bad

The Good

  • The new design and sound of the mg 42: simply wonderful, it does not need more changes I think.

  • The new explosions: by this I mean the explosions that create craters on the ground. The sound and the new texture are great, the sound especially reminds me of a scene from rescuing private ryan. really satisfying.

  • The new maps: I especially loved the Mosku map.

  • The flamethrower and the new design of the fire: I was pleasantly surprised using the flamethrower, now when it is used, the fire starts with a blue tone, and then leaves flames with a more realistic design. On top of that, the smoke it leaves behind really makes it feel like someone is using a flamethrower.

  • Soviet Maxim: I really have to explain this point?

  • Artillery now has a better indicator: Really Grateful.

The Improvable

  • the sound of bolt action rifles: I’m not complaining about the redesign, but the new sound doesn’t quite convince me. It sounds like you’re opening a bottle of champagne.

  • The customization system: it is simple, but its simplicity is graceful. Really thankful for the new officer helmet, but I think some more grayish colors could have been added to the uniforms. On the other hand, several designs are quite repetitive, I noticed this especially in the doctors, I thought it would open more options for the helmet but no. Anyway, I won’t go too far here, because I know that it will surely improve over time, so far it’s fine.

  • EXPLOSIVE CHARGES: more scope would be fine the truth, but for the rest it is not a bad addition.

  • the sparks of weapons: good addition, but the design doesn’t quite convince me

  • doctors: I knew that in this game doctors would not be very useful. Maybe in solo mode… and even with those.

tail gunners: well, although they are not very accurate, it is a rather interesting addition. Maybe a little more appreciation, but not without exaggerating would be fine. …

flame launcher tanks: not bad, not bad, useless against enemy tanks but really fun when you run into large amounts of infantry.

The Bad:

  • full access package: fuck, it’s exaggerated the amount of experience one can get with this. Enlisted really needs to rethink its monetization system. Why better not unlock all weapons and block only character customization? oh well I know, but there really were no other alternatives? maybe the package is something temporary and 2 months after removing it they eliminate the option to buy it or something, but if this is permanent… Anyway

  • the commotion: take that crap out of me once and for all. If there’s one thing that takes the trophy to the worst addition of this expansion, it’s the new shock. Man, really touch the eggs that everything, absolutely everything, causes you shock. I understand it from the enemies, but the allies? God, in my last game I was capturing the enemy point to the death, but a stupid allied tank caused me shock and to make matters worse, it didn’t kill or shit. just remove this, it’s too much.

  • the bugs: eh noticed that there are players with lag, and reports of failed textures, things really not so serious, but it is worth mentioning them.

  • reuse. Man… already a bit boring to use the same weapons over and over and over again. And my god Tunisia… simply unforgivable to put a Czech rifle and leave the Italian rifle relegated to a premiun squad that bought it Jesus Christ.

anyway, so far my experience, the game can still be improved a lot, but it is not going in the wrong direction.

Fully agree. Too much echo/reverb with them, it sounds weird, like audio recorded indoors.

Me neither. It feels a bit excessive at times the smoke and muzzle flash effects.

If people are given no assault squad and the medics have assault weapons, barely anyone will play them as medics

i agree with all and the customization prices ar too high

The new K98 sound is spot on (I own one) so nice change with that in this update. I take mine on the range when my lads are doing their APWT, more fun than an SA80 or LSW :slight_smile:

The gold order PZ. 3 J in Tunis feels so new , its so joking to see it again :slight_smile:

There were so many weapons i was looking forward too seeing in the Stalingrad campaign that to be honest SHOULD be there but are not i will list them below. Also damn the devs must love using the mp28 as a starter smg :slight_smile:
