I have to say the new tank explosions are not helpful to my teammates…I always find myself watching them explode when one is getting attacked…they’re awesome!

The effects? Or do you mean something else? Because now bots can use tanks and HE ammo is useless.
HE ammo has been useless for a long time now , they should have never nerfed them to begin with. I wasn’t aware AI could use tanks now , how?
For quite some time now, if nobody takes the tank slots, the AI does.
A few patches after telling us they had removed bots from matches, they revealed that bots could use tanks xD

Nothing cooler then watching a tank turret launching skyward, and while you’re watching in aw the enemy guns you and your squad bots down.

I still haven’t witnessed this or maybe I am looking for the wrongful thing what exactly do you mean by “take the tank slots”? and what do they AI do exactly? I imagined when you said that that they might actually man a gun now and fire from the top of the tank or something
If there are bots in the game and no player decides to use tanks, the AI will pick a random tank from the BR you are in.
From what I’ve observed, they advance and shoot at people, but they don’t defend themselves if you approach.
