From what I understand, canister shot was heavily used in WW2 (I could be possibly mixing it up with WW1), but it’d be very useful for close infantry.
Let me know what you think down below.

Canister, APCR and White Phosphorous rounds would all be cool additions
Shrapnel shells already exist in war thunder for the early war soviet tanks, and these are basically the soviet equivalent of Canister shot. The US also used canister in their 37mm armed light tanks and AT guns, but I’m not sure if the Germans ever used canister.
The devs said a while back that the Bazooka would have an option to fire White Phosphorous rockets, so I don’t think it would be too difficult to give tanks that used them the option to carry white phosphorous shells

The ability to customize your shell loadout similar to how you can in war thunder would also be a really nice addition
