In the new progression system for enlisted, will we be able to choose what campaign we play? For example choosing the Americans and then choosing to fight in the Pacific instead of getting randomly thrown into an American theater of war?

No, you play on all the map a faction can play
Ex
- german play on every map outiside pacific
- Japanese only in pacific
- usa tunisia,normandy,pacific
- soviet moscow,berlin,stalingrad

well, the idea is like war thunder.
but with location rules based on equipment.
essentially BR ( the ammount of stars ) of the highest equipment that you have, you will face players that have a similar ammount of 
the beneficts, you wont be stucked in the same campaign. and you will not have to grind 4 times the same faction.
on the other hand, seal clubing and matchmaker based on something will not address players of the same skills goes against each other.
it’s kinda tricky as impossible to think of something else.
so yeah, in sight, this new merge looks alright.
gotta see what happens.
( i can smell bs br changes every once in a while just to screw everything up. but of course, i hope to be wrong )

Yes but in customs you don’t get XP.
To play Pacific maps you will need to choose equipment of early war (Springfield rifle, Stuart tank etc.). If you choose better equipment (like Jumbo) you will get a Normandy map.

How will they distinguish commonwealth forces against US forces? In the game now they are all one homogeneous item.
I think pacific limit is the sherman BR because japanese have a 100mm rocket luncher
that was my primarely concern.
but james claims otherwise.

Wy commowealth need fight US? If commowealth get his own faction it probably drop alongside US player, same is italy with Germany

New zeland,Canadian,australian, south africa and india probably end like their counter part in warthunder as UK sub research tree, that make sense because they use the same equipment

Fine.
I stopped playing warthunder for many reasons but the currency and going into debt in a game is one.

I think this full course change is bad overall.
What I personally don’t like is if some late war small arms are now able to be used on early campaigns.
Hope I’m understanding something wrong.
