having potential does mean nothing when no one smart enough to utilize it
Lack of Communication annoys me the most.
They answer only if the questions are fit for them…
This is very true. But I usually like to think positively. Hopefully the potential is wasted but given the Steam release I’m not sure this Snail game will actually survive.
It’s …
Pretty legitimate. I myself stopped trying to lure friends in. Not until there’s REAL br mm (not that +/-2 joke).
The ui is mostly fine… but we could replace first point by:
- no text based lobbies of any kind to discuss between players outside of matches and form parties? Not even one for parties already formed? Wtf?!
Also

You truly need to ask?
I have some counter-points:
-
I think it would be better comparing it to mobile games in that context, and even then, there are plenty of PC games that do it now. (Not really a reason to play, just a little correction.
) -
This is a common thing between multiplayer gamers these days, no ingenuity. I guess we’ve all been desensitized to balance after the last 10 years.

But really, playing smart can get you by, even with inferior equipment.
-
Compared to?
Enlisted’s the best looking game I “own” and if graphics are a bit too much, a smart move would be to set everything in minimum, but change the graphics to whatever your computer can handle (for me, about 20-30 frames medium is my best and it’s still incredible). -
I think you start off with a squad with at least one explosive pack. Otherwise, just avoiding said tank or waiting for someone else to take it out is a good strategy.
-
This, I agree with. However, all squads have their purpose. Snipers can delay point capture times/take out defensive positions from afar, rifleman squads without engineers are still very important for manpower (if you can’t build rallies, why not hunt down the enemy’s?), assault squads can clear mobs of infantry in close quarters, etc.
-
Also a really good point. I think Gaijin, or Darkflow, should either restrict the maps to specific battleratings or name the maps based on location instead of the battle.
But, overall, I don’t know your friend and what he plays/doesn’t play.
He sounds like he’s a bit of a Call of Duty player with some minor knowledge of World War 2, so maybe that’s what’s affecting his opinion?
This is a complex game and has undergone many changes since the Beta came out.
I agree that the game should make it much easier for new players, the game itself should have a good set of updated and organized tutorials as there are many things to take into account.
I think that if we want more new players to come and stay playing, we can’t ask them to learn everything by watching videos on YT (Or read forum post with Excel files), since the game has changed so much since it came out that almost all the tutorials on YT are a big gap from the current version of the game and they would get even more confused.
Yeah, but until the devs get a proper tutorial together, people should know how to look up “how do game” and be willing to do so when they don’t understand how something works
