I’m also a military historian and have written more than 40 books about the First and Second World Wars. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to interview more than 100 veterans, including legendary tank commanders such as Otto Carius, Rudolf von Ribbentrop, and many others.

As they say, Enlisted may not be the most historically accurate game, although it used to try once upon a time early on. But it certainly is entertaining. Their strongest suit are all the rare weapons featured and released over the years. It’s like a huge encyclopedia of interwar and WW2 guns. Enjoy your stay and don’t stress too much about the win rate. The matchmaking can be unforgiving at times and also very fun.

I’m mainly playing with tank units, and winning some battles is really difficult… Hahaha. But I guess I’ll improve little by little. The progression also seems pretty slow!
I’m not really focused on historical accuracy, though.
The game strongly reminds me of Heroes & Generals, which I used to play a lot. I’ve even noticed a few maps that look quite similar. I don’t know… Maybe it’s just my impression!
