It seems that there is a common consensus on here where most players want the GO store back, and think the top rewards for ranks aren’t worth it so they don’t chase higher ranks. It seems like an easy fix…bring back the GO store since it is already made, giving players back choices to rewards since they can choose the faction/BR level they prefer playing…and offer it as a reward for General of the army and Marshal rank. As it stands right now, the “temporary” rewards for Marshal no one wants…the Victory boxes are flooded with GO weapons so people don’t buy as many…and it would incentivize players to play squad mode more improving queue times and gameplay. Win-win…happier players means more money for Gaijin.
With the store you could easily add orders to events for vehicles and such…better option then coloured Fortnite guns they have now.
Would you chase Marshal status if you had access to the GO store?
At this point in Enlisted, I am still a lowly Private, that tells you how many general games I play verses custom matches. I get no enjoyment going after Marshall any more, the rewards aren’t worth my time. So, at age 61 when I can play a map I want, play a game mode I want, am not punished for desertion and get no benefits for becoming a Marshall, why play general matches? For about 3 1/2 years I obtained Marshall every cycle, but this will be my third consecutive that I haven’t tried.
That being said, I thought the game was much better when we earned gold orders and had a BP store we could use them. I could go and buy four weapons I wanted from the BP store, and now we are spoon fed a weapon here and a weapon there, and ONLY weapons Gaijin decides to offer. So, I can say honestly I have saved a lot of money by the BP store closing.
Despite the community being VERY VOCAL about gold orders, the developers removed them anyway. I’m sorry but I think the developers will deliberately refuse to include it no matter what
I don’t think the reward for Marshal are suppose to be good in the first place. It is just like in event you don’t need to complete all the stage and mission to get the main reward.
You have to get 200 points in 35 days…that’s 100 wins while being battle hero or more if you lose…that should have a good reward as you don’t get to pick if you attack or defend, the map, uptiered or downtiered, and the mission let alone the players. That’s a big accomplishment…events are like BP levels…they can be done whether you win or lose.
Perfect idea - to give something more valuable then the same damn portraits about 4 years @MajorMcDonalds@Euthymia07-live could you ever forward this? That’s the point for me and others play much just to get very the same old portrait while we have 100 better event icons? Please share it. Anything else will be more useful. Even a 10000 silver or something
Remember this photo event ticket which grants a right to choose one gun from old bps? Imagine how it desirable
Imagine every bp - 4 weapons - one per side will be available to choose (only one can be taken). Its kind of War thunder mechanic. Why we can’t make our game rewards interesting
It’s not like you are forced to reach marshal in the first place.
So in your opinion the event is easier than rank. In that case, the easier progress event doesn’t require you to finish all the stage to get main reward why should the harder rank progression requires you to reach the highest rank to get the main reward?
We cut off good things from daily rewards, remove it from a ranks system, make less rewards in events. Well, looks like it can inspire us to by some premium content or what. I bought almost everything
No you aren’t, but means you play a lot…which is good for the game and Gaijin so a reward that is refective woukd be warranted.
And it isn’t easier, just one is based on points per day or tasks for doing in game actions while one is based on wins. You can lose most games and still complete BP or event levels, but not when ranking up. When you are out to win, it creates better gameplay because you are playing the point and building rallies…as opposed to having a teamate running around with a knife because they need 20 melee kills or a sniper way in the back getting 20 headshots.
Doubt the gameplay will be better, I will say the normal victory bonus is already encouraging you to win. But those players still don’t focus on point, so I doubt those players will be attract by the rank reward. You will in fact attract those good players who are already focus on point, they will use all sorts of way to farm victory. So you will just see a bunch of sweat stack appear and turn matches into a roflstomp, players playing more advantageous faction or players flooding to low br to seal club for an easy win.
I am not saying we shouldn’t get good reward for ranking. But those good reward should be on the ranks below marshal so players doesn’t need to grind that much. Getting to Marshal is already considerably harder in current bp system compare to older one. Why make the life of players harder?
It’s not that hard getting to Marshal in the current BP…you get 36 day to do it…if you get 3 wins with battle hero a day, that’s 6 points…that’s easily 200 points a season. If you are anyting above second lt at the end a season you reset to 50…that’s 2 wins a day.
By bringing back the GO as a reward, it incentivizes people to stop playing custom and play to win in squad mode. With the amount of people who desert, I don’t see how a victory bonus means as much…GO are coveted as it lets the player choose what they like to play.
This is true to an extent, however, I started playing my own custom matches because I got tired of being dropped into game modes I specifically chose that I did not want to play, and having to constantly play maps I hated and specifically choose not to play. The preferred map/mode sham was a HUGE unmitigated Clusterfuk on Gaijin’s part. They took what the players were asking for and kicked the players in the balls.
If they brought back gold orders and the BP store, I am sure it would bring back some to the general game mode, but once you get used to getting to solely play where you want and in the game mode you want, I am not entirely sure the general game mode is going to improve.
Gold orders and reopening the BP store would definitely put more money in Gaijin’s pocket while making most players happy, but as far as the rest of the game, Gaijin can’t seem to get out of their own way.
