It’s “more Normandy” but still feels like a new map.
Also the battle area is noticably larger and wider, giving room for large battles.
I’ll do Omaha beach later too.

So Sword is directly connected to Omaha or is it it’s own separate map, because they certain weren’t side by side. From west to east it was Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword.
I’ll certainly be a little peeved if they have them joined together
Sword and Omaha are seperate maps
Errr not quite.
most maps in enlisted are separated maps.
not always one giant map with different mission.
Even for example, Berlin.
which is divided into the Reichstag, and Opera House with the train station map.
Despite being similar and have the same details in the map, those are two separated maps for performance and improvements.
same goes for pretty much most normandy maps with the exception of few.
Omaha it’s is own map.
Steel plant it’s is own map
Oman, la perelle village, train station and Airfield are tied together in a stand alone map
Saint mere egliese, D-day and Le bre. ( which it’s Utah ) are their own stand alone map.
Ruins of vaux, Ver sur mer, and Gold beach heads are are tied together in one stand alone map.
