Ladies and gentlemen, I’m back from retirement! Sometimes a man needs a break, and I’ve taken quite a long one. In any case, today I shall announce my latest mod, 1955 Zombie Attack!
The basic synopsis of this mod is that in 1955, the U.S.A. is experimenting with the rabies virus in Area 51; the C.I.A. is carrying out these experiments and are wanting to make the virus airborne and cause humans to enter a rabid state rather than dying after a week.
For those that don’t know, rabies is spread through bites and kills within 7-14 days.
However, this mutant virus has leaked and infected most of the testing facility at Area 51. The southeast corner of Nevada is soon infected, and these rabid zombies soon descend on a small town in the state of Arizona.

In this small town is a local garrison of the Arizona State Troopers, mainly meant to deal with riots and speeding violations. Local WW2 veterans, a baseball player, and other civilians form a militia to fight against the violence. At the last minute, the U.S. Army deployed a few troops and supplies to help garrison the town, as well as moving a convoy towards the town. A Jewish arms dealer named “Goldberg” offers any arms he can get his hands on for a price - where he gets them is unknown. Who is he? We don’t know, but all we know is that he’s fast, efficient, and likes his money.
Now, the rabid zombies descend upon this small, quaint town on an autumn night; the question now becomes thus:
How long can this garrison last?
The mod includes custom squads - three to be exact: a civilian militia squad, a police squad, and an Army squad. There are also U.S. weapons available for purchase in the interior of the town, as well as vehicles and supplies left by the U.S. Army last minute. The loot boxes are how “Goldberg” ships his weapons over to you - his policy? “No questions asked.” So it’s best not to ask about that!
