New idea for a Marshal reward

Now at 539 days use of a USELESS temporary portrait that NO ONE WANTS…since GO weapons, silver and gold chests and Legacy squad suggestions have been ignored, how about a vehicle camouflage? Allow a player to select one camouflage for a vehicle and faction of their choice. Since it is only able to use on on vehicle, it would have little impact to Gaijin. If they don’t want to give away full access incase they think there will be a loss of revenue, just have access to the simpler options like grey, green, tan, white, wooland camo, etc. This would give access to players to customize their vehicle, has value, and makes battlefields look better as the colours can be camo specific.
If that is STILL too much for the company, limit it to Event and Premium vehicles…nothing worse then having the tan event German APC stuck in the Bulge. The fact that Premium vehicles don’t come with a few colour options to keep the battlefield historically accurate is baffling…you PAY for Premium…even the new jeeps come with another camo.
We NEED something better for Marshal.

  • I would like this change.
  • Why would I want a reward?

Whoever voted no is a twit.

You know they don’t add anything substantiative that they can’t otherwise sell for gold… This is no different than any other thread asking for free stuff.

i dont want any meaningful reward behind absurd amount of grind. to get marshal you need minimum 5 wins daily(with hero reward in every one). with 70% WR that is 7 battles daily to get to marshal and good reward you were proposing.

I like having Patton as my portrait, but I would love to see Rommel as an available pfp

But no one other then you sees it…and it’s temporary…so not worth the grind. There were a few Axis Generals but snowflakes here complained and now Rommel is gone.

If you only need 150 points in a 35 day BP season that’s doable as it’s 4.28 points a day…a win with BH is 2 points. So even at a 70% win rate it is doable…there are a bunch of Marshals already.

True…but this benefits the look of the battlefield while being minimally being a loss for Gaijin. It’s sad that you pay for a Premium squad…or grind a long event for a squad only to have to buy a camo that it should have come with.
And even though it is technically free, you have to grind for it which improves overall gameplay, shortens queue times, improves the quality, etc as it mans people are playing. Better match quality = more players willing to invest in the game.

I agree and want the same. I was just pointing out that Gaijin has repeatedly ignored requests like these. Grinding for camos has been suggested multiple times before but to my knowledge they haven’t indicated that it will be added in the future or if it was even considered.

my math was wrong. i wrote battles instead of points and made mistake. anyway even with ~5 points daily on average requires 3 wins, or 4-5 battles daily with heroes rewards in every one of them. you cant derp, take time off, desert or whatever.

if they changed progress in ranking where points were awarded based on skill i wouldnt be against it. what is the point if i have 5+ awards at the end of the match when i will get 2 points for win and 0 for loss. i am against any rewards that need heavy grind(4+ battles daily).

You have to understand the jokes on us. We all have been complaining about this shit ass reward for years. I have almost as many days as you do with that stupid portrait. I think 1-3 silver chests would be a good reward. Or at least one chest is better than those stupid portraits. MAYBE they can just make a new one every battle pass instead. They are using AI on most of these anyway.

And why make a poll if you are mad someone did not click the vote you wanted? That seems almost like a Leftist mentality. Pick A if you like A pick B if you like A. This reminds of living in HCMC when they would have elections pick comrade A or choice B Pick comrade A or you go to jail (They are not that bad about arresting people but the choices are A and A).

No, whoever voted no has an opinion. All’s fair in votes and polls.

Personally, I think 100 gold would be a solid reward for hitting Marshall. But that’s just me.

SHILL Of course you would say only 100gold I say 1000 gold! Just kidding 100 gold would be a sweet reward but it screws up their monetization cycle. Players would be getting 150 per BP allowing them to accumulate enough gold to get a gold order chest for free. (I used my excess this last time for one chest and glad I did not spend money). That is 3$ US Dollars out of their pocket.

But I agree, why get upset about a “vote” if you give people a choice what is the guy a socialist? It really reminds me of living in places like Vietnam and Thailand where you only have the illusion of choice but are forced to choose what they tell you to choose. Also you biased you own poll with that comment so you can expect at least 2-3 votes that will go the other way just out of defiance.(I am the second “Yes” vote because nothing sickens me more than a person upset about people not doing what you want instead of what they want for themselves) We all agree the reward needs to be better we have had this discussion for how many years? They know and they are doing it for a reason.

I agree, but those that do put in the time should have an equal reward…going for Marshal is a choice and not necessary…but those that do play more helping queue times and gameplay overall so should be rewarded accordingly.

True it is an opinion…but state I don’t want rewards, yet half of the forum is usually gripping about the rewards so it’s counter productive.
I personally like the gold idea but Gaijin wouldn’t never go for that. It should be enough in 43 battle passes to allow you to play the April or October event for free.

Actually you net 100 if you have paid BP…that’s why a skin has no monetary value.

IF you can cling onto the gold then an event comes up and whoops there goes some to finish a task when I’m running late.

The skins would be great. I cannot imagine they sell a ton of them being so specific to each vehicle.
