New gamemode, bigger map, improvements to equipment systems and other Ideas

I’ve been playing the game for some time now, and I’d like to share some Ideas

1
I think the game would really benefit from a gamemode similar to conquest but with a bigger map (about 4 times bigger than a conquest map). The longer distances would make cars actually useful and create space for mechanized infantry squads that would spawn in with their own car/half-track. Another type of squads you could add to this gamemode are more specialized units like paratroopers, this could be a small (4-5 men) unit with the ability to paradrop behind enemy lines.

I like the existing equipment system but I think It could be even better.
I think that there should be two backpack slots ( here I would rename them to equipment slots) and the second weapon slot should be unlocked for everyone but, every piece of equipment should have assigned weight and the more weight you put on a soldier the less stamina he has. This would give players more flexibility in equipping their soldiers. Also, I think that soviet body armour should be more available to players as an item for the equipment slot but with a lot of weight assigned to it so getting better protection would be a trade-off for mobility.

Late game weapons in Normandy make no sense. I really would like to know why german snipers have an FG42 as an option. I mean the thing is basically an LMG for crying out loud. Also giving this gun to regular infantry makes no sense. I didn’t get a chance to play with it but just looking at the stats it seems completely overpowered compared to m2 carbine. STG would fit in this role much better, it’s a much better counterpart to M2 and also was used much more widely than FG.
And please tell me the US using British weapons is just you using Normandy as a testing ground before adding Tunis. Because US soldiers using sten makes even less sense than FG42 for german infantry.

Invasion maps should be 4x larger than currently and any map in general probably 1 minute of running between every cap!

I’m not sure, I like the Invasion just the way it is. Bigger map would solw down the gameplay and I think there should be at least one fast paced gamemode.

Enlisted is type of game that shold not play like COD ever!

I’m not saying it should be like COD. I just say I like the invasion in its current state

No.
this will kill the game for a lot of people and would make matches way way one sided and longer.
This is arcade shooter not battle simulator.

Game advertises itself with Scale and Realism COD is nothing like that! COD is nothing but energy drink addicts fighting in phone booth!

Honestly I’m having trouble understanding you. Nobody is said anything about wanting Enlisted to be more like COD. I just said that I like Invasion the way it is, and it’s already way slower than COD.

Well, during World War II not a single invasion was fast! Id wish it would take hours to complete one!

Then go play Hell let loose, enlisted is trying to be a middle ground between battlefield and games like HLL or PostScriptum

Absolutly no! The play time for an invasion is perfekt. Enlisted is no simulation. It’s an authentic MMO shooter with the focus on intense and enjoyable battles.

You didn’t got what the game advertise it self as then, this game is combination of arcade (CoD and battlefield) and realistic games (like HLL and PS for example) the gameplay is very similar to CoD with faster TTK and the objective is similar to battlefield games while the tanks/planes combat is more realistic, the game is casual/arcade shooter not simulator.

All FPS games will eventually be compared to COD, but enlisted feels more like refined Heros and Generals (and better imo). Personally, I don’t want to spend 30-60 seconds walking to an objective, dying, and doing it all over again. The game feels fine the way it is despite all the minor issues everyone nitpicks about, but hey it’s still in beta, so there’s plenty of room for improvement.
