New game mode: Defense

It deals with a game that only has one objective, if it is captured the game ends.
Unlike invasion that at each point you can make detours for an ambush, in this game mode you can’t since it will be linear, that is, you have to go in a straight line to reach your objective.

Defender → They start much earlier to mine and build trenches, machine guns, anti-tanks etc… (The map will also provide them with constructions). Constructions cannot be dismantled, they must be destroyed. Rallypoints can be built from the objective (including) to the back, not to the front. You can advance a bit to build trenches and mine but you will almost always be locked in (easy target for tanks), you have 1500 soldiers.

Attacker → As you are attacking you are better prepared, up to 3 players can call artillery and you can use one more tank (this tank can only be a tank destroyer or an anti-aircraft vehicle). At first you can’t build rallypoints. You have 1000 soldiers.

If you manage to enter the objective (1 is enough), even if it is in dispute, it will allow you to build rallypoints 50m from the objective to facilitate cleaning the interior. Defenders will no longer be able to build rallypoints on the objective itself

Possible maps:
Berlin → Reichstag
Stalingrad → Pavlov’s House
Normandy → The Normandy landing itself (rework or another beach)
For the others I can’t think of whether you can help better.
That’s all, if you have something to add or remove, I’ll read you.

On the one hand, cool. But with 1000 stylish ones it’s not enough.
According to the manual, the attacker should be outnumbered 3 to 1. If it is less, the attacker will never score a point.

The second thing is that one defended point should be large and divided into sectors, close to each other, and the defender should not be able to recapture them.

What time would you expect to prepare defensive structures?
And does the attacker also have the ability to place field cannons?

1- I put those numbers because I don’t want the tanks to kill all the defenders from behind either. As in invasion the lives are unlimited it was to give them more life.
2- For example, the objective is the Reichstag, what he proposed was that the attacking team wins when there is no defender inside, having fought for the entire Reichstag (also the team that runs out of troops loses). But it is also a good idea to divide it.
3- Either the defending team starts 30 seconds before or the attacking team starts too far for the defender to build, once the fight starts the attacker’s respawn is closer to the target.
4- Sure, but they have to build it. Defenders will already have buildings made by the map plus the ones they can build

If the preparation area for the defenders goes deep into the foreground, the defenders will be able to lay minefields (does not apply to landing in Normandy).

The distance of the attacking side to the defended zone should be at least 500m (does not apply to landing in Normandy).

In this case, defenders should have a comfort zone where vehicles won’t be as effective against defenders.

No, thanks…
gamemodes suck enough to add another shitmode

(1)
a) The game mode is balanced if attackers can take objective before any team runs out of tickets. Then defenders don’t need tickets.
b) The game mode is balanced, if the victor is decided by tickets. In invasion, your goal is to capture a zone. If your teammates waste tickets, that will give you less time to capture a zone, making it slightly harder to win. In this mode, if teammates waste tickets, you now have to kill far more soldiers to compensate, making it far harder to win. This will also encourage camping.

(2) You can have several sets of pre-build defensive constructions and in every match choose a different set.

(3) The problem with one point is the swing. One good moment for the attacking team can lead to their victory; then the defending team can feel bad for losing on luck.

(4) There is a mod, something with the cold war, where the defender defends 1 point and the attacker spawns 1km from the point. Try to organize a session with full player team to see if it is fun.

Defenders also need to have tickets in this mode. Otherwise, this mode makes no sense because there is already a confrontation.

Confrontation is both teams “switching” between offense and defense. This is similar to Invasion.

Indeed, the Invasion mode looks like this, the defenders do not have tickets.

In the mode you propose, the defenders should have tickets. Because due to the lack of tickets, they have a greater advantage over the attackers. Because in invasion mode, the balance is that attackers get tickets for conquering areas.
