I would like the new event to be an optional custom match game mode as it has been great fun and I’m sure other players would want to enjoy this in the future. In fact, more game modes for custom matches would be great fun for players and their friends/peers.

i don’t think it should since it would mean they would have to develop a modern day campaign, and i want ww2 setting to be completely flashed out

they could make a 2 box selector with one option as WWII and the other modern, and u cant have both, but modern has only what was in the event

again, don’t think they should especially considering the state of the game and they still have stuff in ww2 to touch on such as: battle of france, poland, china, and the pacific theaters

true. not sure that it would take that much effort to do it but id rather them make the main game better

The solution for them is to not add anything else to it. I think most people are fine replaying the same thing with no updates, just for fun, no XP gain

Right now the focus should be on WW2, however that doesn’t mean they can’t save the event (along with future unique events) under custom matches so people could replay cool events like this for fun, no other benefit.

Exactly, all just for fun purposes.
I understand where you’re coming from but I still want to preserve this gamemode for future players and for people to have fun.
