Well, we already know how Enlisted is going to change, but can we agree on the importance of choosing the game mode? They’re going to add a proper matchmaking (finally), but waiting 3-4-5 minutes to enter a match and find out that it’s conquest mode will ruin many players experience, so here’s my suggestion: let us choose the preferred game modes which we’d like to play.
Please, notice that I mentioned the conquest mode 'cause I’m not the only one hating it, but if you find it bothersome, change it to the mode you dislike the most.
Yeah, I mean, I’m not talking about removing conquest mode. There are people who like to play it, so removing it it’s kinda unfair for them. But I’m just saying that it’s better for us (and for the devs, in order to have statistics regarding how many people are playing each mode, so they can plan game events or rewards related to the modes).
I was for this too (I never really liked conquest)- but thinking about it, they’ve done this to merge the campaigns etc so everyone was queuing together. If we then separate up again by choosing specific game modes it kind of defeats the purpose?
I never imagined matchmaking taking longer though - there should be a bigger pool of players readily available, so it won’t take as long waiting for players to put into the game? And it sounds like there’ll be a limit on how long it tries matchmaking before just throwing into a game - like it does now after just over a minute, you get thrown in and topped up by bots.
i would like to remove assault permanently from the game… and train escort… conquest can be ok on some maps, but it is cancer on others. also they need to fix infinite confrontation match.
