I know everyone wants jeeps as a Rider II class, but I think they need an entirely new class…Driver. Since Riders ride, Drivers drive. This way they could have a seperate line in the TT. APCs in the TT would be Driver I, the anticipated armed jeeps with MGs would be Driver II, then more heavily armouredvehicles with better weapons, like the new German scout car, would be Driver II.
As it is great that they are finally brining in vehicles like this, it is a CAR and shouldn’t take up a tank slot. After all if you played a BR1 match, this takes up the Tanker I slot so you would need a Premium tank squad if wanted a tank too. As you start with 2 APC slots without Premium, it’s perfect and would allow other vehicles to be added easily from porting ones from WT, ones already in game files, and minor mods to the Willy jeeps and VWs already on the BF. Devs could make them a non-spawnable point, but allow them to rearm ammo and first aid kits.
To me, this makes more sense then Rider II class. With Premium and extra slots I hcan bring 4 of this vehicle type but each faction has a TT APC, an Event and a Premium…we need more things.

Normal Rider 2
Guerilla Rider 2 with gray zone capabillity but no engeniers!
Maybe special Forces Rider 2 where the car trunk works like the paratroper weapon Box, maybe with gray zone capabillity too !
Why would we have a single class do completely different things (drive APCs, drive cars, and armoured vehicles)? None of the other classes currently in the game work like that. Also adding another class to do things like drive APCs and cars instead of just using the standard stuff we already have is just adding bloat for the sake of bloat.
For one, the class already exists. Drivers drive APCs and are essentially just Assaulters lite right now.
Secondly those aren’t completely different things. Is driving Trucks and Cars completely different? No. They handle differently but so do two different cars. Armoured Cars and Cars, might notice a similarity there, drive like cars or trucks depending on size and make.
I don’t see why we have to create more classes that do more or less the same thing.
the " riders ride. drivers- drive " is pure semantic type of argument.
and above all, i don’t see why we should clutter the TT with more stuff.
Imo, it can simply be rider type II since they exist, and basically do the same thing.
you can even rework the type 1 riders, separate the unlocks of this class and apc to be a dedicated line like planes or tanks have their own,
and you’re good.
with that being said, i kinda like the idea of having a dedicated mechanized line up with apc, riders, and… apparently armored cars and what not.
now, as far slots goes with armored cars, sure. make a dedicated vehicle limits like apcs per class.
so not many vehicles of this kind would be spammed.
but still.
something that only very few would benefit from.
hence, the existing class can be rewored to accomodate such vehicles imo.
