I’ve done a bit of research and found an interesting idea for new cosmetics for Soviet vehicles. During the war, the mass produced tanks available to the Soviet Union didn’t always had proper protection and as such, many crewmen added their personal touch to make their vehicles better protected against the unbelievably powerful axis scum canons.
As such I propose a new COSMETIC available for SOVIET vehicles available for gold, that would give additional 20mm bonus armour where it counts.
A bit like for the t34 STZ.
Yes, I believe it is fair to allow Soviets vehicles additional welded armoured plates, available from the customization tab.
The soviets did need much US and UK support to win ww2, the USA Bombing campaign was very importent in ww2, land lese to russia was very importent in ww2.
That the Soviets did win ww2 alone claim is just historical wrong!
Alone the Land Lease Studebaker trucks where very importent for Russia!
Axis could get zimmerit paste cosmetics I suppose. Gor gold. It would prevent magnetic mines on their tanks. It’s very op! But it’s ok because there’s none in game.
Japan could have bamboo sticks spears on their tanks, giving a bonus tank melee damage on contact! Very op… I hesitate with it.
Soviets as I said could have bonus 20mm armour covering most weakspots… it’s not very impressive so It’s balanced.
Allies could have similar armour… but then it’s really op on them! So I’m on the fence about it.
